This is Tomas’ Toyota Tacoma Truck Camper that he built himself.
He and his girlfriend lived in the micro space while travelling 10,000 miles around the country. They saw the Smoky Mountains, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, California, Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks, Oregon, and Jackson, WY. Be sure to check out more pictures and follow their adventures on Instagram!

I did build it myself. Was actually the first thing that I have ever built. And yes I still have it. If you want to see more pictures there is a blog about it on tacomaworld.com under “diy truck camper” or Instagram @bamboo_bungalow.

Nice work for a first timer!
Talk about tiny….!
Thomas takes a beating over at Tacoma World. I understand providing insight and constructive criticism, but the way most of the feedback was framed… Geez, all I can say is, Wow, just wow! Based on how they treated him, I wouldn’t be a part of that forum if someone paid me. – Good job Thomas, it looks like all the naysayers were wrong and you had a nice trip without killing anyone.
Haha people on the internet can be very harsh, indeed!
Hats off to you! You did a great job building it! It must have been exciting traveling in your camper across the country! Just think you saved on plane and hotel fares! Loved your pics on instagram! Thanks for sharing!?
It’s so great! I would have loved to know what they spent.
