Google hydroponics. Much more efficient, much less expensive, and has been in use for years and years. Reportedly a four foot square hydroponic system, in the house, can keep a family of four supplied with fresh vegetables year round. Greenhouses have been around for who knows how long, even used to grow bananas (sp?) north of the Arctic Circle. This thing is an answer to a non-existing question.
Very nice!
I wonder if it is customizable for opening in the summer? I live in the desert southwest, and it would get deadly hot in there if there were no way to open it in the heat of the day…. but I just love the whole idea of a warm place for your plants in the winter
I am in the greenhouse business. This idea is so old fashioned. This is the way they grow 100 years ago. So really not realistic way of growing. But a nice presentation to attacks some people who buy the DVD.
Would love to get get more info, Theo, on the 4 sq foot in house aquaponic garden!www
Nice idea an aquaponics system would be great in there, grow fish and greens at the same time.
