This is a man who lives off-grid in a Nissan NV 2500 van.
From the outside, you’ll notice a stealth white van with ladders affixed to the roof. At a first glance, it looks like an ordinary work van.
When you go inside, you’ll find a twin bed, small kitchenette, storage — and even headroom so you can stand up inside!

This is a 5 Mars RV Dodge Caravan Camper Van Conversion. This model is called the Illusion. From the outside, it almost looks like an ordinary Dodge Caravan Minivan.
When you go inside, though, you’ll find a kitchenette, storage, and a dining table that converts into a bed. The van also features a pop-up roof so you can comfortably stand up while inside or use it as a cozy and vented sleeping loft when camping. Check it out!

Right now I’d like to show you a little van that has been rehabbed into a micro motorhome perfect for stealth van dwelling with a Japanese zen style.
I can see it being used for stealthy traveling but it can also serve a variety of purposes like a space for meditation, writing poetry, or just about anything else you might be able to think of.

A dedicated reader just sent me photos and information on his 1982 Chevy Step Van to RV Conversion that he was using for stealth van dwelling and traveling which is now up for sale. (SOLD)
It’s a 3/4 ton single axle Chevy P20 Step Van with a 350 engine. It’s been converted into a fully featured camper that can also be used as a mobile studio or office.
