This one-of-a-kind Cedar and metal tiny home was built by Drew, a creative and driven designer with a passion for sustainable living in style. Most of the materials were reclaimed from a variety of resources and recycled into ideal use. It’s fully solar-powered by a 1200 watt Renogy system, three 170 amp-hour Lithium Iron batteries, and a 3000-watt inverter/charger.

The interior is laid out like a luxury suite with healthy plants adorning the walls, operatable skylights to brighten the space, and custom artwork for a unique touch. The functional bathroom holds a toilet and full shower with a high-efficiency head and dampener valve. The kitchen has abundant storage with an induction cooktop and built-in wall oven aside from a gorgeous 24×48 tile for the backsplash.

The most outstanding feature of this DIY build is the seamless drop-down deck and fold-out awning. Drew can have a beautiful porch with shaded seats and endless views in a matter of minutes!

This is the story of Maria and Tino, their baby, and the tiny house they’ve been living in.

They’re a young couple who moved to the United States from Germany and have been living as a young family with a baby in this customized tiny home. For example, they built a really clever floating wardrobe that I think you will like! Check it out below! This story is based on this video from the Tiny House Expedition YouTube Channel.

This is a pre-owned 2018 Escape Traveler XL tiny house with off-grid power. It actually includes enough solar panels to fully power the tiny house with the air conditioner running!

According to the listing, the owner is selling it because he bought a smaller version of an Escape tiny house (maybe the Traveler or Vista) so he’s parting with this one. It is in lived-in condition with a few modifications. Take a look and let us know what you think!

If you’re looking to build a tiny house for the most affordable price, here’s how you may be able to do it for only $3,000 in material costs. Our friend LaMar Alexander is looking to help anyone out there looking to get into a self-built quality tiny house for the least amount of money with his new tiny house plans.

So if you can do the labor yourself, you may be able to build yourself a tiny house very affordably. Need it to be built on a trailer for mobility or zoning? That will run you up approximately $6,000 in materials so you can build it on a Big Tex Trailer. Just remember, these prices are approximate and can change and vary depending on various factors like location, trailer choice, material choices, as well as any uncontrollable events and material price hikes. Learn more below!
