The Culp by Movable Roots is one large tiny house with a ground-floor bedroom and a walk-in jacuzzi tub (added by the clients’ request).
This custom build is a whopping 500 sq ft with lofts and features two “office” lofts with built-in desks for working from home (they’ll double as guest rooms). The kitchen has a cooktop, stove, 10-cubic-foot refrigerator, and washer and dryer.

Now this is one GIANT tiny home on wheels! At 38′ long with three separate bump outs, this THOW sports three bedrooms and sleeps six.
The kids have bunk beds in a back room bump-out, and there’s a gooseneck bedroom in the front with a large closet, and another stair-accessible loft bedroom from above the kitchen. This home is perfect for a family with it’s spacious interior and full-sized refrigerator. Stick around for the video tour at the end! Meet Alexis, and her 11-month-old daughter Nalani. Alexis bought her amazing tiny house from Cornerstone Tiny Homes, and it has everything she wanted including a built-in bookshelf for all her books and an under-the-stairs reading nook.
She found a tiny home community in Florida to park her little house and it costs just $450/month rather than the $750 she had previously been paying in rent (while living with a roommate!). Now she has a place of her own designed to meet all her needs (wait until you see the kitchen sink!) that she can share with her adorable daughter. She wants other single moms to know this a dream they can achieve!

Designers, artists and environmentalists Geoff and Rose spent two years taking this 1988 Motorhome and transforming into an eco-friendly and incredibly cozy tiny house!
While the truck still runs they don’t intend to travel in it, but rather have it parked on a 200 acre farm in rural Ontario (they even have their own chickens). Neither Geoff nor Rose have building experience, so they learned as they went and carefully researched everything. They even insulated the whole home with wool they cleaned themselves! Woah.

I think we all need some good news in our inboxes during this pandemic, so here it is: The San Jose, California City Council went through the first reading of an ordinance that would classify Movable Tiny Homes as ADUs!
According to the Tiny Home Industry Association, it has to go through another reading and would then become law by the end of May! Once these THOWs are recognized as ADUs, it makes it much easier to find a spot to legally park them. Hopefully this legislation will pave the way for more cities across the country follow suit, and therefore make tiny living more accessible long-term. To read more about the legislation, click here.

Meet Mollie and her adorable tiny house on wheels. She lives with her two adopted dogs in her THOW in Teton Valley, Idaho.
She just moved in at the end of February, and has lots of time to enjoy decorating and making it home due to the shelter-in-place order! She plans to add metal skirting and a deck to the home once the weather warms up.
