This a story of a family of 9 living in their bus conversion. So if you thought that only small families, couples, or even just singles could live tiny, think again.
Outside, you’ll notice this school bus has been painted red and white and bears the name “Good News.” This family of nine transformed the school bus into a cozy home for two parents and their seven young children.
When you go inside, you’ll find what looks a lot like an RV. They have a dinette where the kids can eat and play board games, a beautiful kitchen complete with an oven for mom to bake homemade bread (yes, she’s that amazing), and built in bunks for the kiddos to sleep in. The master bedroom is in the back of the bus and they have one bathroom for all the family’s needs. Open up the back hatch and you’ll find a washer/dryer, because as you can imagine, nine people come with a lot of laundry!

This is the story of how a young family built their own DIY tiny house on wheels for only $8,000 USD in only six months.
They started construction in August, 2015 and are almost completely finished (the bathroom is being finished within the next couple of weeks).
This family will be living tiny with their two year old son. The project started with a restored 1976 Winnebago travel trailer that had been stripped. It was built by the married couple with help of two other family members. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!
This is the story of a young woman, her partner James, their great dane dog named Denver, and their two babies who are all living together in their 232 sq. ft. DIY tiny house that they built and expanded upon as their family grew.
Over the past few years, their family has grown exponentially – and I’m not just talking about Denver gaining 140 pounds! Macy and James have welcomed daughter, Hazel, and their newborn son, Miles, into the tiny house, but not before adding on an additional living space. Originally the house had an attached covered patio, but they recently enclosed the space to create a shared bedroom for their children.
In this tour, Macy tells us about living in a tiny house with children and speaks about plans for the future. Hazel (18 months) gives us a tour of her new bedroom, which she will one day share with her brother.
At the time of filming this tour, Macy was nine months pregnant. Her son, Miles, was since born on October 1st, 2015. Today the “Mini Motives” tiny house is 232 square feet and accommodates two adults, two babies and a great dane!

According to their blog post, it’s their most elegant and complex project to date.
It’s a 26′ long, 8’6″ wide, and 13’6″ tall tiny house on wheels designed and built for a family of four who are living tiny in Indiana. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!
