When people tell me they want to travel a lot with their future tiny house on wheels I always think, “hey, why not just go for a travel trailer because it’s lighter and easier to tow?”
And if you wanted you can always still live in a travel trailer just like you would in a tiny house. Especially if you get to completely renovate it.
In this case, we’ve got a 1954 Airstream that was wonderfully renovated into what I consider a modern tiny cabin on wheels by Timeless Travel Trailers.

Ever wanted to convert a school bus into an off-grid cabin? When Max was a little kid he grew up across the street in a log cabin.
Today he has two homes. The first is in the city in a tiny apartment. And his other home is this school bus converted into an off-grid tiny cabin. He goes there on the weekends to see his mom and to enjoy nature.

Hank is an architect student who bought a bus for his final project.
He was tired of doing projects that weren’t real. They were just on paper.
Hank’s grandfather owns an 80-acre parcel of land in Wisconsin where they wanted to build a tiny cabin on the land.
But because of building codes and zoning regulations in the area they were only allowed to build a cabin so small.
So for the last few years, they’ve been discussing the idea of buying a bus and turning it into a cabin to use while on the property.

But now, it’s been turned into this man’s humble home. Once a bank, now a home! How about that?
I think you’ll also find this unique bank to house conversion interesting. And don’t miss the video interview/tour below.
