This is the story of Sarah’s tiny tree house cabin that she built for less than $2,000 in materials. At a first glance, you may not be able to tell very easily, but it truly is a treehouse! There are 7 living trees in and around this little cabin.

Meet Sarah McClellan (daughter of Cob/Earth/Mud builder “Uncle Mud“) as she takes us through her self-built funky, unconventional, fun, and ultra-affordable home- one built IN and around seven trees.1

Just got news that Governor Newsom signed historic housing legislation for California that allows homeowners to build up to two ADU’s (accessory dwelling units) on their property.

This legislation will definitely boost interest and demand for micro, tiny, and small homes in California – where extra housing just like this is desperately needed. What do you think? This is a good thing, right? I suppose, some homeowners will be upset about it.

This is the story of an off-grid cabin built using free pallet wood thanks to the TA Outdoors YouTube Channel.

It’s a really enjoyable video to watch because there are no words, but you can hear all of the beautiful sounds of construction with no power tools, and while watching you start picking up a lot of what it takes to build a cabin. It’s pretty awesome. Hope you enjoy.??

This is one family’s tiny cabin they built for their truck. And yes, they’re a family of 5.

It’s a really nice DIY truck cabin that’s actually built stronger and with more insulation than a truck camper. And it’s customized exactly to their needs. Pretty cool, right? What do you think? Would you design/build something like this? Seems like a pretty cool adventure rig too, doesn’t it? You could go almost anywhere! Your thoughts?
