Over four years ago, they built this beautiful 700 sq. ft. cottage on 8 acres in Oklahoma. It took them a total of 9 months to design and build it. It wasn’t long before they were living debt-free and eating healthy.
This is a family of four living in their Ready Structure, a pre-fab small home by Craven Construction.
Although this family chose a small-size dwelling, Ready Structures come in multiple styles and sizes, one as small as 182 square feet. So how do two adults and two children fit their entire lives in less than 700 sq. ft.? This family did it by completely rebuilding their apartment with the help of a local carpenter.
They intentionally decided to downsize so they can live in the city after experiencing living outside of Copenhagen beforehand. They sold many of their belongings, downsized some more, and started to rebuild the apartment.
