To have a park model tiny house / log cabin on your own land somewhere does sound pretty awesome.
This particular model is only available in Idaho, Montana, Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Alberta, and British Columbia.
Check out the Pacific Lodge built and manufactured by Palm Harbor Homes.
It is a 386 square feet wooden cabin with one bedroom/one bath and a sleeping loft.
The dimensions are: 34 x 11’2. It’s classified as a park model home.
Maybe some of us should consider designing and building our tiny houses to park model specs if we want more space and a downstairs bedroom?

If you’re looking to go tiny or downsize but don’t exactly want to live in less than 200-square-feet OR be limited by an 8.5-foot wide trailer, then you might like this option. It’s still a tiny house on wheels but it’s a park model because it’s much bigger.
These sort of units are nothing new, and this one is built by Palm Harbor Homes. It has a relaxing beach vibe, doesn’t it? Take a look below, and let us know in the comments, would you consider living tiny in a park model sort of like this one?

Probably one of the smallest cars on the streets these days. A vintage Fiat is shown here pulling a matching retro teardrop trailer.
As you see below the retro teardrop camper is outfitted in coordinating red and white checkered fabric. This classic trailer is chic in its own retro way.

I just had to show you Tim and Hannah’s off-the-grid 196 sq. ft. micro cabin.
They built it themselves completely in Tahoe, California and have been living in it for almost two years.
The couple started off with 20 acres and absolutely no blueprints.
But I’m sure they had tons of ideas that they had gathered online while dreaming about the project years before.
So here’s what they came up with… And it was all completely DIY with the intention of creating a space for living simply.

I thought you’d enjoy this off grid tiny house that’s right on the beach.
It sort of has that classic Spanish style which I like.
And it’s in an area that’s completely off the grid (surrounded by dunes).
Improvements were made by a team of builders and architect Alejandro Gonzalez.
Since there’s no electric it’s lit by candles and lanterns.
To get here you have to use a 4×4 vehicle to get through the dunes.
About eight blocks away, though, you can find a store with supplies and food.

This is the story of a man named Larry who built a self-sustained and off-the-grid home out of two shipping containers. He wanted all of the comforts of a home and to be able to live in it comfortably up to a year or more if need be.
To do this he ordered two sea containers and welded them together to make one awesome cabin. Water is heated using solar power or by woodstove if necessary. Access to water is by well. The two containers combined add up to a 40′ x 16′ floor plan so about 640 square feet of space inside.

Three amazing nurses have come together to build a medical tiny house to better care for this 8 year old boy who was born with a terrible skin disorder called epidermolysis bullosa.
The cozy little cottage is called the Honey House and it functions like a burn unit on wheels that will provide better treatment for Brian Ilg.
I wanted to show you the current progress of the house (which even has dormers and a loft to store Brian’s medical supplies) as well as give you a chance to help build it.
And here’s the best part.. It won’t cost you anything to help but you can donate money if you want to. All they’re asking for is your vote and you can help them win $10,000 from Kind Snacks to help with their Honey House project.
