It’s located in Berlin and is available as a one of a kind vacation rental where you can connect with nature in a unique way. And best of all, you’re not far from a subway station with access to restaurants and more.
There are actually two treehouses on the property and they’re almost identically designed. Inside you’ll find a kitchenette, living area, full bathroom, and lots of windows that bring the nature in. I hope you enjoy below.

I just had to share this amazing piece of property with a beautiful 768 sq. ft. tiny barn cabin already on site that’s for sale (UPDATE: SOLD). And the best part is… You can bring up to 3 tiny houses and/or RVs with you.
Yes. There are already 3 RV hookups on site in addition to an 8×12 shed for storage. The plot of land is near Lake Cushman so there’s lots of recreational opportunities around like golf, tennis, biking, hiking, boating, fishing, and camping.
There is an HOA fee in this area but it’s only $30 according to the listing on Zillow. The lot size is 10,280 sq. ft. and the MLS number is 676923. Please enjoy the tour below and if you want to re-share it with anyone you think might be interested in it.
I think it’s a great opportunity to start living tiny and maybe even invite some tiny housers to your property, too! Personally, I’m a little tempted. Let me know what you think about it in the comments below. I’d love to read your thoughts.

Guest Post by Michael Kelley – How I Converted My Garage into a Tiny Home for $6k
We live in a 600 square foot cottage in Ely, NV. We have plenty of space for everything except parties and overnight guests.
Our solution was to convert our humble stand alone garage into a party room/casita. Our home and casita project have been furnished and decorated from yard sales and hand-me-downs from friends.
The casita is approximately 380 square feet and features a separate sleeping area and a bathroom with shower. We wanted an industrial look so we used corrugated metal on about half of the interior walls.
A tool chest serves as a kitchen cabinet with drawers. All of the “kitsch” on the walls was obtained for less than $500.00. We did a lot of the labor but did use a contractor for the plumbing and electoral work.
An evaporative cooler provides cooling and space heaters are used for heat. A coffee pot, toaster, and an induction burner have been sufficient for our guests cooking needs. The remaining garage space is just large enough to house our golf cart.

Tiny Writing Cottage Guest Post by Barbara Techel (Award-winning author/Advocate for dogs with IVDD (disc disease) and dogs in wheelchairs/Founder of National Walk ‘N Roll Dog Day)
Twelve steps is all it takes from the patio doors of my bedroom to the writing cottage where I spend much of my time.
This place of my own where I can write, read, retreat, relax, sit in stillness, create and dream. Built with the loving and skillful hands of my carpenter husband, John, he dubbed it Myspace.calm when it was complete. It was then that I realized he truly understood how important this is to me.
Here is where I wrote my two children’s books (including Frankie, the Walk ‘N Roll Dog) and my memoir about my dachshund, Frankie, who was in a wheelchair due to paralysis from a disc disease. I also founded National Walk ‘N Roll Dog Day in her memory and started The Frankie Wheelchair Fund. To date, the fund has granted 30 wheelchairs to paralyzed dogs in need.
Six large windows surround my writing desk so I feel as if I am out in nature. A small half-moon shaped window with a stained glass rendering of my second dog, Joie who was also in a wheelchair, makes me smile each time I look up from my laptop.
It is in this space that I share my heart through writing for my blog, Joyful Paws. It is here that my constant companion at my feet is my dachshund, Gidget. It is here that I find solace and dream of new adventures and projects. It is here that I am authentically me.

I just got an email from Donna who is the owner of this wonderful historic home near downtown Atlanta, Georgia where she converted the separated garage structure into a little house.
She has rented it for many years now and even lived in it for 6 months while she was having her main home renovated. It started out as a one level one bedroom one bathroom apartment over the garage.
Last year, since one of the garage spaces was never really being used, she decided to turn it into a second bedroom with a bathroom to better meet the needs of her renters. Take a look below and if you’d like to you can even consider renting it below.
The suite is named in memory of the owner’s Russian Wolfhound, Princess Cathryn Natasha. I hope you enjoy the tour as much as I did!

The property is secured with a six foot iron fence and ADT security. Please enjoy the full tour below:

I love when people start and complete their own DIY projects like this 144 sq. ft. Blue Door Tiny Home on wheels by Conrad Harley in Stanwood, Washington because it can normally be done for less than $20,000.
Who else do you know that has been able to build their own house for $20k or less? You might be lucky enough to know somebody who has, but most people obviously don’t.
And if you hire a builder or if you decide to order a tiny home from a tiny house company you’re normally going to be asked to pay upwards of $45,000 (or more).
Some of you have been lucky enough to have had your home built for $35,000 but that’s rarely the case these days because labor is just, well, expensive.. So a Do-It-Yourself project is the answer if you’d like to own a tiny home for less than $25,000.
And people like Conrad Harley are leading the way. Others, like Dan Louche, can teach you how to do it using his step by step guide.
