The tiny houses on wheels you’ll see here are designed and built by Seattle Tiny Homes.

The company has a qualified and experienced team focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and values. And custom designs are their expertise which means they can build any tiny house design you can think of! As long as it’s something that’s doable, of course.

So if you’re thinking about hiring a custom builder to build out your own tiny house design in the near future, I’d definitely add Seattle Tiny Homes to your list of builders to seriously consider.

For now, I’d like to share some of their tiny houses with you thanks to Sharon Read, founder of the company. Please enjoy and re-share below if you’d like to help spread the word. 🙂

Shawn Dehner of The Small House Catalog just released shipping container house plans for a 720 sq. ft. small home for one of his clients.

Later on, in 2015, there will be photos of the actual build that we can all see. I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

But for now, we have a 3D sketch of what it will look like. Even better, Shawn and his client have made the plans available for us to download too if you want them.

Please enjoy and re-share below. Thanks. 🙂

A reader of Tiny House Talk and member of Expedition Portal is regretfully putting his 2010 Conqueror Commander for sale.

It’s a 2010 model and has almost brand new $1200 BF Goodrich tires on it. Absolutely ready for adventures. The camping trailer has a legal US title, tags, and insurance.

And as far as we know, it’s very likely the only one in the United States since these campers are made in Australia. Asking price is $43,500 or $42,500 without the 90 liter National Luna fridge. Either way please enjoy and re-share if you’d like to below.

This 4×4 School Bus Tiny House Conversion is a guest post by Brock Butterfield of Bus Life Adventure

Being a subscriber to Tiny House Newsletter it is an honor to be able to share my project of converting a 4×4 short school bus into a Tiny Home on the move.

The idea first came to me last winter as I was sleeping in my truck. Cold, cramped and no good way to dry out my snowboarding gear, I started thinking about how I could have a little more wiggle room without the cost of an expensive RV.

A short school bus came to mind and I learned that a handful out there are 4×4. After many nights of research I found the bus I was looking for. A 2001 GMC Savana chassis with Corbeil bus top and a 6.4 Turbo Diesel motor. The bus was located in Albany, NY and we flew out to drive it back to UT taking only old highways and side roads while documenting the whole thing.

My summer and fall has been consumed with removing all the bus seats, chopping the back four feet off and reattaching, welding a deck on the back for two snowmobiles and converting the inside to a cozy 76 sq. ft. living quarter.

The inside is complete with a bathroom, kitchen, dining area that converts to a bed system that will sleep four, clothes closet, nook and plenty of space to store everything one would need to live simple. Most of the walls are recycled pallet wood that I sanded and applied a clear coat to.

This is Minimaliste Tiny Homes which is a new tiny house construction company out of the Quebec City area of Canada.

And this is one of their very first tiny house designs which they built. It’s modern, spacious, and it seems to make great use of the available space. It’s a 24′ tiny house model called The Sequoia. So far it’s simply a 3D sketch of plans so I’m sure that you, like me, will be even more excited to see when they build their first tiny home so we can see what it might be like to live in it in person (or at least of course in photos and video). Either way, please enjoy and re-share below. 🙂

This high tech Twofold furniture by Christy Oates is a great invention for small spaces, tiny houses, and any multifunctional space.

The video below will do more than my words can describe as to what’s actually possible with smart design.

It’s described as folding furniture and when not in use it’s stored on your wall like a piece of art. When you’d like to use it, you simply pull the furniture out and set it up. When you’re done, you can enjoy your open space and your furniture is used as art.

A laser cutting machine is used to cut the plywood and engrave the art onto the furniture. Innovations like this certainly makes me look forward to the next few decades as our small spaces get better and better. Please enjoy and re-share.

This is a park model RV designed and built like a train caboose which of course can be used as a ‘large’ tiny house on wheels.

Normally park models are about 400 sq. ft. with extra loft space up top in addition. The designer of this one is a retired train engineer and veteran. Unfortunately this particular model doesn’t have a kitchen or bathroom as it’s being used for the owner’s train and caboose collectibles. Either way I thought you’d like to look at it too since I’m sure you can also see how easy it would be to finish it as a fully functioning tiny home.

This is the story of a young couple who acquired an old trailer and together, renovated and brought it back to life better than ever before.  It started out as a 1965 Serro Scotty Sportsman Travel Trailer that seemed like a nightmare project to most people. But they saw something different in it.

So they rented a garage and started to take it completely apart with plans to put it all back together so it can be better than ever. And they did just that, as you’ll see below.
