This is the cozy Chalet Tiny House on Wheels by Molecule Tiny Homes in Santa Cruz, California.

The build includes stunning details like adorable arched doors and windows and an off-the-loft balcony! I love the stonework in the kitchen and bathroom, and it even has excellent safety rails on the stairs and bedroom loft. Plus, those little green shutters are just adorable.

See contact details for the builder below!

Valerie & Jessi from Happy Camper Wives are exploring long-term travel while living full-time in a T@b Teardrop Trailer.

They sold their house in San Francisco, downsized their stuff, and became minimalist nomads just over four months ago. At first, they thought they’d travel for a year and then move to Florida but after four months they’ve fallen in love with the lifestyle and want to continue the adventure in Europe and New Zealand once they’ve finished touring North America.

Some of the challenges they’ve faced with their new lifestyle include having to choose destinations based on warm weather since they live an indoor/outdoor lifestyle (which doesn’t always work out), and getting access to high-speed internet (Campground WiFi connections aren’t always fast enough to do a full day of online work).

So this is fun! It’s a new collapsible chair, called the Ollie Chair, that’s perfect for tiny spaces.

The Ollie Chair, designed by RockPaperRobot, easily “unfurls” and then retracts by tugging a string — does it get easier? I really love the modern feel of the chair, and I could see them sitting behind a table in a tiny house. Pull out the table, unfurl the chairs, and eat, work or play.

You can support the Ollie Chair on Kickstarter, and get some early bird specials. Plus, you’ll see it in action, which is super fun!

This is the stunning Fanni Wohnwagon Tiny House in Austria (Think “Sound of Music,” not kangaroos!).

Wohnwagon is a fairly new start-up company, but they are eager to work on internationalization, and would be willing to get you a tiny house — somehow! — no matter where you live. They offer customization and awesome off-grid and sustainable options, including using grey water to grow plants on the roof! How amazing 🙂

This particular model features a lovely modern-cottage feel, with navy and white accents, and you can rent it. It’s a fully sustainable “hotel room” for an Austrian vacation.

This is Raw Design Creative’s Homestead Tiny House on Wheels — with two folding decks!

This build includes one of the most interesting bed/living/loft situations I’ve seen. On the ground floor you have a queen bed, and then above it sits a lounge area which features a couch that doubles as a twin guest bed. There’s even another storage loft over the bathroom. Take the video tour! Great news — it’s for sale.

This is the Writer’s Retreat Getaway Cabin near Boston: An off-grid, no-wifi spot to get away from it all and have a true vacation in the woods.

This is just one of a handful of cabins owned by Getaway, a company that builds awesome tiny homes, puts them in secluded locations near major cities, and rents them out to folks who need to unplug. A pretty brilliant business plan, if you ask me. They opened their first cabins near Boston in 2015, and by 2016 had cabins in New York as well. Book one today!
