Armando and Mel from Westfalia Digital Nomads have been living in a VW camper van, full-time, for over 6 years now.
To fund their travels, they work online as digital nomads doing freelance writing and videography.
They chose to live in a van because it was the perfect way to combine work, travel, and home.

If you’re wondering if tiny homes appreciate or depreciate in value over time, we’re here to tackle that question for you!
Could you do an article about whether tiny houses appreciate or depreciate in value. I would think that one built on wheels, so it could be moved, would depreciate like an RV or trailer. But one built on a permanent foundation would appreciate in value, like any regularly built home. Am I right or not? Thanks for the help.

So what do you think? Do tiny homes on trailers appreciate or depreciate? And why? Well, here’s what we think and why:
Roy’s got the right idea because if you have a tiny home on a trailer, like most other trailers or motorhomes, it will depreciate over time because of normal wear and tear.

This is a 28ft Urban Tiny House on Wheels by TruForm Tiny with a 3ft nook bump-out and an elevator bed.
It’s the Payette floor plan with double triangle dormers. There are 3 skylights to give you tons of natural light and the elevator bed makes the space very multifunctional! It functions as a downstairs bedroom, office, living room, and you can even use it as a spare bedroom since there’s a pullout couch you can use under the bed which turns it into sort of a bunk bed! This is the Escape Traveler Tiny House on Wheels with updates for 2018.
Outside, it looks just as it always has! But when you step inside, you’ll find that you’ve now got a private bedroom space downstairs with a closet/wardrobe, an additional loft space on the opposite side (over the bathroom), a built in couch that folds flat for sleeping in the living area, and a nice kitchen!
