This is a 1997 E450 Diesel Ambulance Conversion with 4×4 and a shower!

It also features air conditioning, an awning, backup camera, built in water tanks, a roof rack, solar power, and so much more. It already has 203,000 miles on it, but I hear these will easily keep going with proper maintenance. What do you think? Would you ever consider an ambulance camper like this?

Like so many American families, the Bacons were running the rat race, constantly going and hardly spending time together as a family. That’s when they decided to sell most of their belongings, buy a fifth-wheel, renovate it, and travel the country!

To date, they’ve been to 35 different states over the past two years (see more @baconsontheroad). Despite being a family with three young sons, the interior of the home is mostly white and “farmhouse-inspired” (but, of course, everything is washable!). The boys share a “bunkhouse” and it’s pretty awesome.

We got to interview mom, Mallory, and you can read the Q&A below! She even talks about how they tried out living in a house for a month not too long ago, and discovered they missed living tiny… How cool!

For many people, van-living isn’t a “forever” decision, but a great opportunity during transitional times to see more of the country and learn to live with less.

Angie and her husband, Brian, moved back home when Angie’s dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. After he passed, they were trying to decide what to do next. That’s when they decided to buy a van and travel for a year.

The couple is now selling their van, but be sure to check out the video tour with Tiny Home Tours about their sabbatical year on the road!

Most of you know Marsha and her famous tiny house builds that she has so graciously shared with us over the years. This is an update on her 8×8 shed tiny house since she added a customized French door.

From her micro houses to her short-bus skoolie conversion, to her more recent truck-bed micro cottage and her shed tiny house in Denton, North Carolina, Marsha has built quite a number of micro and tiny homes. In this post, you’ll get to see the latest improvements to her 8×8 shed-based tiny home! The most notable improvement is that she replaced a standard white exterior door with a custom French door which makes the world of a difference! Check it out!

Remember the Silver Pearl houseboat on Airbnb that Alex showed off last week? Genevieve and her husband own that boat, but also live off-grid in their very own floating home called the “Island Gypsy.”

Before they invested in a vacation property, they moved into the Island Gypsy — she felt like were “cheating” being hooked up to shore power, so they figured out how to create an off-grid home and have been living that way for a few years!

She sent us a beautiful description of their life on the water, which you can read after the photo tour of their houseboat. Enjoy!
