Carmen and Bill downsized from a 5,000-square-foot home to this 400-square-foot custom tiny house on wheels for retirement. The design includes two bathrooms, a mudroom, an expansive kitchen with a half dishwasher, and distinctive arched architectural features throughout. Underneath the standing-height loft bedroom is what they call the “basement”—a space configured as an indoor gym. An office area in the bedroom overlooks the arched details that define the home’s character. The tiny house is parked at one of the Incredible Properties communities in Tennessee.

Soren and his parents purchased this beautiful tiny house from Baluchon which they’re taking to a home in the Alps. He loves foxes, and chose to name their tiny house “Fox” in Danish. He has a spot on the couch-to-bed in the living room, while his parents have a queen bed in the ladder-accessible loft.
Additionally, there’s the Baluchon-signature net lounge area where Soren can read and play. Their kitchen has all the appliances, including a drawer dishwasher! In the back of the home you’ll find a little bathroom with a composting toilet and a shower stall. What do you think?

What happens when you build a tiny house on wheels that skips the loft entirely? The Kangaroo THOW answers that question with an ingenious hydraulic Murphy bed that folds down over the couch, giving you a full queen-sized sleeping area without ever climbing a ladder. Built on a triple-axle trailer at 8.5 by 28 feet, this no-loft design offers something increasingly rare in the tiny house world: high ceilings throughout and easy accessibility for everyone.
This particular Kangaroo build packs a remarkable amount of functionality into its compact footprint. From a full kitchen with apartment-sized appliances to a complete bathroom with washer-dryer combo, it demonstrates that choosing a single-level layout doesn’t mean sacrificing the amenities that make a tiny house feel like a true home.

Steph is a full-time vanlifer who knows what she wants! A microwave, so she doesn’t have to cook, and a big enough water tank and hot water heater for daily showers. The van she built with her husband, Alejo, proves you can be a little “spoiled” and still live in a van.
The couple actually rented vans for vacations for a few years before they got remote jobs and were able to buy and convert their own. Now they’re loving traveling in Alaska with their three gorgeous dogs.

Mr. Wolf originally convinced his wife into a skoolie conversion, so long as he built it out like a home. But after some trips, they realized it couldn’t get them where they wanted to go! So Mr. Wolf had an idea – build a 4×4 Overlanding rig on a Humvee chassis.
Using aluminum and marine-grade materials, he created a tiny house that’s going to stand up to the test of time. While on the outside it looks like a beast, you walk inside to a comfortable and cozy home that even has a tiled shower! Pretty amazing. Tell us what you think!

Erin and Joe were slowly sucked into van life after a fun road trip left them wanting more. They completed their build in early 2020 and decided to go ahead with traveling to outdoor spots after lockdown. They needed a bed that could fit Joe at 6 ft. 4 in., so they have a couch that becomes an almost-queen.
They also have an awesome 900-watt solar system with articulating solar panels that track the sunshine to maximize solar input! After a couple of years in this smaller rig, they are wanting to upgrade so they can host guests while on the road.

Allison and Eric started off backpacking around the world, and when their backs started hurting, they turned to suitcase travel. But in 2020, they decided to fulfill their longtime dream of renovating a vintage RV and finally seeing the United States!
They didn’t realize upon purchasing their 70s Class C campervan that it had so much mold and mildew damage that the entire interior would need to be gutted, so the project took them a couple of years to complete. They documented the entire build on YouTube, so you can learn a thing or two about the conversion process!
