This beautiful 28-foot tiny house was built in 2018 and is for sale by the owner! It includes a super cool elevator bed over the living room area, so you don’t have to climb a ladder if you aren’t up for it. That said, there is an 8-foot loft if you need it for more sleeping or storage.

A bump out on the side of the trailer has a large desk/table, so you can set up a permanent office space. There’s a 3/4 bathroom at the end of the THOW, as well as a galley kitchen with everything but an oven. You can purchase it for $75K in Eatonville, Washington.

Marie discovered the world of tiny homes through YouTube — and that single spark changed everything. What began as simple curiosity turned into a full DIY build that challenged her, taught her new skills, and ultimately transformed her life. With determination, trial and error, and a whole lot of heart, she created a beautiful tiny home perfectly tailored to her needs.

The experience was so empowering that she pursued carpentry professionally. Today, she’s a carpentry apprentice and teaches other women the craft at WomeNZShed — a full-circle success story born from one bold decision to build her own space.

Chay and his brother Colby set out to build a truck camper they could actually afford — and they gave themselves three non-negotiables: it had to cost under $1K, it had to sleep both of them in bunks, and it needed to lift completely off the truck so the vehicle could still be used normally.

Ten days, plenty of grit, and some creative problem-solving later, they pulled it off. Their dad jumped in on the final day to help with drywall and finishing touches, and together they managed to meet their deadline and stay under budget. The transformation is impressive — and you can watch the full build below.

An airplane as a vacation home? It’s not exactly tiny (650 square feet) and wasn’t inexpensive ($600K+), but it’s really neat! Jon and Stephanie own and operate a flight school in Alaska, and started building tiny homes to house their students.

During construction, Jon got the wild idea that an aircraft-turned-home would be a less expensive option. It wasn’t — the cost of transporting retired aircraft to Alaska is steep — but they carried on with the idea anyway, deciding on making it an Airbnb. You’ll love this unique vacation spot, complete with two bedrooms, a luxury bathroom, and a cool off-wing deck!

Tiffany fell in love with tiny homes when she was in high school, and when she was 18, she decided to start building her very own while taking online college classes. It took her about 3 years to complete it because she was also working on two other house flips while building her THOW. That said, she finished the project and moved in with her now husband.

Her house has a loft bedroom and two large pull-out closets, one for clothes and one for her 36 pairs of high heels. Tiffany is living proof that you can keep your favorite things and still go tiny! We had the privilege of interviewing her, so be sure to read her story and check out her amazing house below.

This “Sweet Haus” is 399-square-foot park model that Ann Marie and her family placed on 35 acres on the Colorado tundra! Dubbed “Tiny on the Tundra,” it was a perfect solution to the lack of affordable rentals in their town. They had the park model shipped from South Carolina and then later built a large utility garage for all their snow equipment.

Enjoy the tour of their space, and Ann Marie’s commentary, below!

Here’s a beautiful new 30′ tiny home that makes use of the wonderful Murphy bed invention! This single-level tiny home has a living room that quickly transforms into a bedroom at night by deploying the bed and “hiding” the couch in the process.

It also has the kitchen and bathroom on opposite sides of the home, which some people prefer for sanitary reasons. The U-shaped kitchen fits all full-sized appliances, so you can cook absolutely anything you want! And in the extra-spacious bathroom, you get a walk-in shower stall, private toilet area, and oodles of storage. The home is for sale in Santa Cruz, CA for $128,000.
