She Turned This Van Into A Bookstore On Wheels!

As you may be able to tell, she’s pretty excited about sharing her love for books with others.

It’s the Daisy Chain Book Co. van!

A rolling book store!

With this van they’re able to show up to events, gain more exposure, and even make some book sales.

I wonder, does she sell coffee and snacks too from the van?

I, too, absolutely love books and getting to visit bookstores.

Being as bookstores are becoming sort of rare these days, it’s nice to see something like this being created and shared with others.

Here’s a look at the retail book store located in Edmonton in the province of Alberta.

They also even run a podcast from the book store!

What sort of van would you build?

    I would love to have a hands-up van that would bring clothes & shoes plus basic needs to the homeless. People just give them stuff instead of let them choose what they like. I want to give them their dignity back in even a small way.

    This made me so happy and I can tell by her expression she like me is a devout Bookaholic. I always wanted a used Bookstore cafe but this is just such a wonderful way to reach so many people. I wish I had thought of this before I sadly downsized my over 3000 dearest book friends towards my minimalist lifestyle. Wonderful really wonderful.

    This made me so delightfully happy. Her expression assures me her love of books is as huge as this devoted bookaholic. I wish I had thought of this wonderful idea before I divested myself of nearly 3000 of my lifelong friends to downsize into my minimalist lifestyle.I had always wanted a small used book/store cafe and still do but this is a perfect alternative to sever more people and get kids interested in reading. Just great, !!! I wonder if they are hiring? SERIOUSLY

    Over the years whenever I traveled to the motorcycle races (or was on a real vacation) I always visited as many local bookstores as I could. I loved finding an old traditional bookstore where the proprietor knew where everything was and after asking your reading preferences could direct you to books related to the subject(s) but whose authors were unknown to you. I still love going to stores like Barnes and Noble but a small-town local bookstore is where I sometimes find gems. Great on her to have such a store and then build a bookmobile for events. Awesome!
    An FYI: I also did that in my foreign travels to England, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium. The hotels can be very helpful in the hunt for an older bookstore. Some look like right out of Harry Potter!
