Secret Jungle Treehouse by the Sea 13

Tucked on a private sea-side residence in Panama hangs with stunning bamboo tree house build around a large central tree. It looks like something straight out of “Swiss Family Robinson”! There are two double bedrooms overlooking the jungle, as well as an open-concept living/dining/kitchen space.

You take a rope bridge and ladder up to your lodging, so be prepared for that! There’s an outdoor shower at the base of the tree, as well as a toilet up in the treehouse.

Bougie Builds – Couple’s Vanbuild Business 3

Chris and Bobby met soon after Chris sold her Florida home. The couple wanted to travel together internationally, but the pandemic sidetracked those plans. Before they knew it they were dreaming of a van! While they still have a “home base,” they spent nearly 2 months on the road together in their van travelling the country.

And because of Bobby’s 30+ years of construction experience, the couple decided to start a van conversion business and help others get the build of their dreams. As you’ll see from their person build, Ivan, they do great work!

Bicyclists Spend Two Years Creating Awesome Bus Home 7

Vanessa and Braden loved camping and taking overnight bicycling trips, but wanted an option that would allow them a better nights’ sleep and to travel further. They stumbled upon the skoolie community and were hooked! They’d never built anything before, but with the help of Braden’s dad and two long years of effort, they created this lovely home for themselves and their two dogs.

Their bus has a huge rooftop deck, and a back “deck” for their bikes/motorcycle and other storage. The interior is all clad with wood and/or faux brick that looks super homey. They did a Q&A with us about going tiny, so be sure to read that at the end of the post!

Gamer’s Park Model Tiny Home in Austin 2

Vandila was ready to make the “next step” and get out of apartment living, but the housing market in Austin was crazy and she hated the thought of jumping into so much debt and not getting a great deal. Plus, she didn’t think she needed all the space a full home would offer.

That’s when she considered a skoolie, but her job kept her tied to one location. Eventually, she settled on a park model in a tiny house community in Austin. She has a ground-floor bedroom, roomy shower, and awesome built-in entertainment system for her TV & games. Check it out!

Huge Bus Home w Musical Horn & Side Door Access

Sure older buses can have plenty of mechanical downsides, but you might also get a musical horn that plays 99 different tunes! Hannah and Cody got that lovely surprise when they started renovating their bus pre-pandemic. Unfortunately, they got scammed by some bus-builders who never built out their bus, so they had to go the DIY route instead.

Because they both have remote jobs, the transition to bus life was a fairly easy one. I love the layout of this bus, which includes a side door instead of the typical passenger-side front door. This totally changes up the feeling inside the bus. Enjoy the tour!

This is Stephi’s Fourth Vehicle Home!

About four years ago, Stephi set out living in her car post graduation from art school. After crashing it, she lived in two other vehicles before buying her Promaster. While most of us try not to think about when we might die, Stephi’s cystic fibrosis diagnosis meant that she wasn’t supposed to live through her twenties.

But when a new drug came out that has extended her life expectancy to “normal,” she decided to upgrade to the Promaster and build it out with the help of her dad. She’s now soul-searching and figuring out what she wants to do with the many years ahead she may have!
