Glen is a retired police officer who converted a box truck into a Lord of the Rings-inspired tiny home. As a skilled carpenter, he transformed the interior into something that looks straight out of Middle-earth.
He named the truck Radagast after the brown wizard from The Hobbit. Inside, the truck features a king bed, kitchen, bathroom, and wood fireplace with one of the most incredible hand-crafted interiors you’ll see in a vehicle conversion. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary work truck—completely stealthy.

This is the Acorn Tiny House by Humble Handcraft. It’s a beautiful and simple 16-foot tiny home on wheels. Originally, Ryan had built himself a much bigger (28-ft) tiny house.
But after experiencing the California wildfires in 2017, and having to move such a big tiny house, Ryan found that he really wanted something much smaller. So that’s why he built his new 16-ft Acorn tiny home. He downsized from tiny to tinier!

This is the story of Jake’s Japanese ambulance bus conversion. He actually has two of them, now, and their names are Peachy and Jiro. He’s on Instagram @wherewe_roam.
Jiro is a 1989 Japanese ambulance truck that was brought to the United States. This is Jake’s second bus, and he named it Jiro because it means ‘second son’ in Japanese. This bus is really awesome because it features a fold-down stage for performances. And so you can actually rent out this bus and use it as a mobile showcase, store, or for performances! Anyway, it’s pretty awesome that it made it all the way to the U.S., isn’t it? Check it out right here thanks to our friends at Tiny Home Tours/YouTube!

This is the story of Nate and his box truck tiny house conversion. Originally, he bought the 1989 Ford E350 for $9,250. The best part is that it only had 33K miles on it. Turns out, it wasn’t really being driven very much, it was being used as a mostly stationary bunkhouse/cabin in Auburn.
So Nate proceeded to gut it so he could start a new build from scratch. Now it’s completely customized and features redwood inside, a lift kit, 4-wheel drive conversion, a DIY composting toilet, and much more. There’s a lot we can learn from Nate below so please enjoy and let us know what you learned from his story and his box truck tiny house conversion in the comments. Thanks.

This is a 652-sq.-ft. cottage in Tiny Ten, a tiny house community development in downtown Reno, Nevada that consists of just ten beautifully designed small homes with detached garages. And one of the units is currently available. It’s the City Trailblazer model.
It’s a two-bedroom, one-bath cottage and it’s listed for $285,000 via Barrie Lynn of Ferrari-Lund Real Estate. You can check it out via Realtor.com. It’s not the most affordable small home we’ve ever seen, but it’s still a good example of what can be done. What do you think?
