This is the story of how a 65-year-old woman decided to build her own DIY tiny home on wheels using reclaimed materials.

It took her two years to build it herself almost all by herself. That’s pretty awesome, isn’t it? She also raised the money to do it herself.

Vera Struck built her tiny home on an 18′ trailer. When you go inside, you’ll find a sleeping loft, living area, bathroom, kitchen, closet, and more. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

This tiny house story is a guest post by Stephani – share yours!

I’m building a 18 foot long tiny home. I retired from the military less than a year ago and was not sure what I wanted to do when I grew up.

So I decided to build a tiny house that I will eventually live in while attending college in Texas using my military benefits. Right now the house is being built in Nebraska.

Please enjoy, learn more and re-share below. Thank you!

I’d like to introduce you to Jen Alverson and her tiny house on wheels. She calls her new home the Ticklebelly Bungalow.

Over the past 5 years, Jen has been downsizing and planning her transition into this tiny house.

After attending a tiny house workshop and purchased plans, Jen felt confident it was time to start her tiny life in the Ticklebelly Bungalow.

Check out her tiny house on wheels build from beginning to (almost) end. Please enjoy the photos below.
