Dawn adopted the blind and toothless Daphne when Daphne was four years old. Their time together inspired Dawn to write a children’s book series about the adventures of a blind dog. Living in a van was a way for Daphne and Dawn to tour the country and promote the book. Shortly after their tour began, however, Daphne died suddenly.

While heartbreaking, Dawn opened her heart and van to another blind dog, Maxwell. She and Maxwell are continuing the journey she began with Daphne! The van is specially designed to be dog-friendly, and particularly blind dog friendly. Enjoy the tour of her unique space below!

Brandon, Sarah, and their two adorable dogs are living the #vanlife, travelling the East Coast in their 159 EXT Promaster Camper Van. The 2019 model has been decked out to meet all their needs — including a hidden toilet/bed step!

They ended up choosing a wet bar and larger refrigerator over a shower, somewhat on accident, but they don’t regret the choice. All four of them can sleep comfortably in the regular queen-sized bed, and I’m impressed with how “empty” their cabinets/drawers look for living in such a tiny space! They have really pared down to the necessities.

Tiny Home Tours met up with the couple and got a great video tour of their home, so be sure to check that out! Follow the couple on Instagram here.

Karissa has been working remotely for four years, so when she sold her new car, she was able to purchase her Dodge Promaster van and hit the road just like she’d always dreamed!

With the help of a friend, she outfitted the interior with a hand-painted mural, kitchenette with IKEA cabinets, and plenty of room for all her surfboards. She chose a smaller van to make it easy to park anywhere, and says for one person (and her two large dogs), it’s just the right fit.

As long as she has wifi, she can keep up this lifestyle while it fits her, and it’s a real dream come true! Make sure to watch the full video tour with Tiny Home Tours below, and follow Karissa on Instagram.

This woodworker had been thinking of vanlife for about 6 years, but when he neared his 30th birthday he decided it was time for a change for himself and his dogs. He sold his house, outfitted a gorgeous stealth van (he’s a woodworker, so the woodwork is amazing!), and hit the road.

While he planned to start a trip from Alaska to Argentina a few months back, that plan got derailed by COVID. That said, it’s still in the works for the future. For now, he’s enjoying getting in touch with himself on the road.

You don’t want to miss the video tour of this unique build, that fits the bedroom into the front of the build.
