We’re excited to introduce you to a new-to-us van-building company called Safe + Sonder Vans. This is their latest conversion which is for sale, called the “North.” Besides the incredible craftsmanship, what makes this van so unique is that it’s a true family vehicle! It features two swivel seats for adults and a bench seat with seatbelts for three more people.
In order to sleep everyone, there’s a fixed queen bed in the back of the van and then bunk beds across from the kitchen for up to two more people. A separate Luno bed provides sleeping for the fifth passenger on top of the bench seats. There’s upper cabinet storage all around the van in order to fit clothing and other necessary supplies for multiple people. What do you think of this design?

This 2019 Ford Transit has a charming and cozy home-like feel. Honey-colored floors and upper cabinets contrast beautifully with the mint green lower cabinets. There’s a unique bathroom at the back of the van, with an indoor shower, sink, and toilet (you use a shower curtain to keep water off the bed).
Under the queen-sized bed is a ventilated garage space that makes a great kennel (or storage). The kitchen has a two-burner cook top, an apartment-style fridge, and a convection oven on sliders. It’s for sale right now in Melbourne, Florida.

Elliot’s van is honestly a marvel of van engineering! Not only did he do everything “differently” than the norm, he did it well. You’ll find a queen-sized Murphy bed, 8 feet of counter space, no garage, and one powerful power system made possible by Tesla batteries.
