My partner Chad and I sold our 1200 sq. ft. home 5 months ago to embark on new employment and a new way of living via a ‘Tiny Home’ on wheels. We are planning on building a beautiful four-season one after we’ve saved for it, but for now, we live in a 5th wheel in Ontario Canada.
Yep, we are RV’ing this winter and so far so good! Aside from that, we are THRILLED that we sold nearly everything to embark on this amazing adventure. We have felt freedom we haven’t felt in our lives, ever! We live comfortably with our two Dobermans and two cats in our 144 sq. ft., very well appointed and decorated trailer!
Tiny homes can be gorgeous, modern and spacious, I tell everyone that I’ve learned space is actually an illusion and that happiness doesn’t come in the form of ‘things’.

Straight out of a storybook this sweet little whimsical cottage is a dream come true for Sue Corl and her husband Ron.
The cottages’ design, look and feel was based on Sue’s childhood dream of having a tiny cottage just like Rudolph, Hermey & Yukon Cornelius (from the Classic cartoon Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer).
Thus the name of their tiny home, “The Rudolph Cottage“.
Ron and Sue have been living tiny for over 28 years. After living in a 200 sq. ft. travel trailer for seven years with their two cats and a large dog they decided it was time to up-size (or should I say ‘right-size’?).
So they bought 30 acres of beautiful lush woodland amongst the largest Amish community in central Ohio.
Then they spent over 2 years gathering the perfect materials to create this whimsical fantasy tiny house Sue always dreamed of.

When people tell me they want to travel a lot with their future tiny house on wheels I always think, “hey, why not just go for a travel trailer because it’s lighter and easier to tow?”
And if you wanted you can always still live in a travel trailer just like you would in a tiny house. Especially if you get to completely renovate it.
In this case, we’ve got a 1954 Airstream that was wonderfully renovated into what I consider a modern tiny cabin on wheels by Timeless Travel Trailers.
