Meet Alexis, and her 11-month-old daughter Nalani. Alexis bought her amazing tiny house from Cornerstone Tiny Homes, and it has everything she wanted including a built-in bookshelf for all her books and an under-the-stairs reading nook.
She found a tiny home community in Florida to park her little house and it costs just $450/month rather than the $750 she had previously been paying in rent (while living with a roommate!). Now she has a place of her own designed to meet all her needs (wait until you see the kitchen sink!) that she can share with her adorable daughter. She wants other single moms to know this a dream they can achieve!
We interviewed her so be sure to read the Q&A after the photo tour, and follow Alexis on Instagram for updates!

What makes Miranda’s Tiny House on Wheels so special? She and her mom built it as a public art project with the help of more than 50 volunteers! It took them one year of weekends to complete the build.
But what makes it even cooler? Nearly everything in the house is a work of art — from the ceramic dishes to the toilet paper holder! You’ll love the folding staircase, and the hideaway antique dining table that seats up to four dinner guests.
Miranda also happens to run the Massachusetts Tiny House Festival, which is currently still scheduled for October 17th & 18th this year! Jenna of Tiny House Giant Journey did an awesome video tour/interview with Miranda that you’ll want to watch below to get all the details.

Designers, artists and environmentalists Geoff and Rose spent two years taking this 1988 Motorhome and transforming into an eco-friendly and incredibly cozy tiny house!
While the truck still runs they don’t intend to travel in it, but rather have it parked on a 200 acre farm in rural Ontario (they even have their own chickens). Neither Geoff nor Rose have building experience, so they learned as they went and carefully researched everything. They even insulated the whole home with wool they cleaned themselves! Woah.
We got the chance to do a Q&A with Geoff which you can read below the photo tour. They documented the entire build from start to finish on Instagram (@woollymammothtiny) so be sure to follow them to get even more details.

We interviewed Tim & Sam, the owners of Tiffany the Tiny Home, just after they moved into their THOW, and now it’s been nearly three years and they’re still living tiny!
In fact, the couple purchased a small island in Florida where they are in the process of building an octagonal tiny home on a foundation (@shellmate_island on Instagram) that they will rent out to others who want to try out the tiny life. They’ll continue to live in Tiffany, just in a more idyllic location they own.
Tiffany (@tiffany_the_tiny_home on Instagram) has such an elegant interior with dark trim, cream walls and stained glass windows. We caught up with Tim & Sam in our Q&A at the end of the post, so be sure to read that!

This is an owner-built Tumbleweed Cypress tiny house on wheels that’s for sale in Wimberly, Texas. It’s 7 ft x 21 ft, and features a king-sized sleeping loft and second storage loft. The first owners did the stunning rough-edge cedar exterior, and the current owners finished out most of the interior.
The plumbing for water isn’t finished yet and the bathroom is a complete blank slate for you to design however you’d like! The bathroom walls are just concrete board and plywood at the moment, but the build comes with an on-demand gas water heater that was never hooked up, a shower pan, and small Ikea sink.
In the kitchen the couple used a convection oven, Instant pot and induction cook top for meals, and there’s a full-sized refrigerator. A space heater and fan have provided heating and cooling to date, but a mini-split install is something you can do further down the road.
The couple is selling the THOW for $27,000 to help cover the costs of the small farm they are purchasing. For more information and to make an offer, head over to Tiny House Marketplace.
