If you’re looking for some inspiration for living on the road cheaply, look no further than Dylan Magaster because he built an epic life with a $5500 van.
Jenna from Tiny House Giant Journey met up with Dylan, who converted his 1994 G20 van into an off-grid home for less than $5,500 (that includes the cost for the van itself). Because he works online (check out his YouTube channel here), he can make money while traveling coast to coast. Watch his tour with Jenna below to get all the details about his off-grid rig. Enjoy!

This is Jadon and Katie’s Good and Tiny House that I first saw featured on Jenna’s Tiny House Giant Journey.
I included Jenna’s video tour of the house below the pictures, and I also got in touch with Jadon and Katie myself and asked them some questions about their tiny life and adorable tiny home.
Their house is completely custom, built by Canadian tiny house builder, Mint Tiny Homes. It has one of the most amazing bathroom/mudrooms I’ve ever seen in a tiny, and it includes a back-wall staircase which is one of the best ways to include stairs in a THOW in my opinion.
So tune out the world for a few minutes and enjoy the pictures, video tour and interview below!

We told you about Jenna of Tiny House Giant Journey and her DIY tiny house before, but that was nearly three years ago, and it’s always fun to do an update.
Jenna had been travelling the United States in her tiny home with her boyfriend, but after they parted ways (not because of tiny living!) in October of 2016, she’s settled down in the Mt. Hood Tiny House Village and still blogs about her personal travels, tiny living and other people’s tiny homes. You can follow her blog here.
Take a look at her amazing, custom home below and be sure to check out the Resources to see where else you can follow Jenna. Enjoy!

This is John’s custom built tiny house truck. It’s 8′ wide, 23′ long and weighs about 6 tons.
And right now we get to tour it thanks to our friends at Tiny House Giant Journey. When they were driving down the highway with their tiny home in tow they spotted it at a gas station and raced to go see it and hopefully meet the owner.
John has been traveling with his tiny house truck for over a year. Please enjoy the story and house truck video tour/interview then re-share it with your friends below. Thank you!

I’m excited to show you this man’s handmade gypsy wagon micro cabin.
It’s about 6′ wide and 10′ long and the owner/builder, Russ, considers it a really nice bedroom on wheels because it has no bathroom or kitchen.
Russ invested over 200 man hours hand crafting and custom building it all from scratch. It has lots of beautiful detail, built-in storage, and even a gorgeous wood sink!
