Do you love tiny homes but want one with modern style and high-end finishes? Then I think love this modern tiny house with a rooftop balcony by Tiny Heirloom.

Outside, you’ll notice a clean geometric shape with knotty pine and sleek brown textures. The house’s asymmetrical style makes it look New York chic while sitting among the trees of Oregon.

When you go inside, you’ll find grey floors, cream ceilings and light green walls all composed of wooden panels. One loft includes plenty of room for storage, and the other houses a twin-sized bed. The bathroom has a beautiful tile shower over a wooden-slat floor that looks spa-worthy. Take a step into the kitchen and you’ll find a lovely tile backsplash and butcher’s block counter.

Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

This is Anita’s double-loft tiny house on wheels.

Outside, you’ll notice a shingled house with a unique half-arch roofline. Four large solar panels lie on one side of the structure to allow for off-grid power, but the house can also function fully on the grid.

When you go inside, you’ll find a beautiful Eastern-inspired space complete with a Moroccan floor couch and genuine Indian sari curtains. The kitchen includes a wall-mounted wood-stove and a copper sink, and the bathroom has a complimentary copper basin sink which Anita said was the first thing she ever bought for the house. This home has two lofts – one for sleeping and one for a living space, as well as a home office where Anita works from.

Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

This is an 8′ x 22′ tiny cabin on wheels by North Park Homes and Cabins.

Outside, you’ll notice stained pine wood encapsulating the tiny frame. The metal roof and front door are painted a beautiful cranberry red. To allow for extra outdoor living space, a covered porch extends off the front of the house.

When you go inside, you’ll find knotted pine covering every surface. The first floor has 144 square feet and the loft gives you an additional 60. The bathroom includes a stand-in shower and composting toilet. In the kitchen, you’ll find custom kitchen cabinets and a custom butcher block countertop, as well as a mini refrigerator. A tiny woodstove sits between the kitchen and living space where you’ll find a bench nook with storage underneath. A solar panel and batteries fuel the house and you can store your clothing in cedar lined closets which are sure to smell amazing. This is a tiny home on wheels just recently finished by Michelle Boyle, a tiny house designer, builder, occupant, and enthusiast.

She calls this cozy, cute, and rustic creation which she spent the last 15 months fashioning, “My Empty Nest.”

The nest sits beside the trees surrounded by lawn, and on the outside, the home is encased in beautiful paneling. Step inside and you’ll be wowed by a tiled kitchen, exposed beams, a French door, full stove, retro refrigerator, and a loft featuring more reclaimed wood.

Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

Tiny Heirloom is a new tiny house builder in Portland, Oregon that focuses on luxury tiny homes on wheels hand-built.

And right now I wanted to show you one of their very first tiny houses on a trailer with dormers. Tiny Heirloom offers off grid designs, on-grid homes, wind and solar power, and more.

One of my favorite features of this little house is the orange painted door with modern hardware. There’s a covered front porch to keep the rain off of you while unlocking your door.

Once you go inside you’ll immediately see the luxury high end kitchenette and sleeping loft with dormers directly above. Near the kitchen is the bathroom. And the rest is your open living area. Please enjoy, talk about it in the comments, and re-share below.

Hi Alex and Tiny House Newsletter readers, I’ve recently completed (and sold) a 20′ shipping container conversion.

I did it all almost on my own with the exception of electric and plumbing, working out of a storage unit and wanted to share it with you.

It’s just under 160 sq. ft. and has a full kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower, flat screen TV, and more.

Hello Alex and Tiny House Talk readers, I’ve followed your page for some time, and it was where I saw my first tiny house, Dee Williams house! (who we later got to meet in Seattle).

That was in November 2013, about a week after my partner and I had gotten rid of our apartment, things, and jobs and left to live on the road out of our 6ft x 9ft 1987 teardrop trailer. We’ve now been living out of it happily and successfully for several months and couldn’t be happier.

We left Ontario, Canda November 1st and drove through the US, up the West coast and through British Columbia and we are now heading back to Ontario and will begin building our very own Tiny House! Within a month we will start our build!

If you’ve ever thought of a chemical free tiny house for yourself or for someone you know, I think you’ll really like this post.

Corinne, the tiny home owner, experiences bad reactions to chemicals. So she built a little home that’s chemical-free with carefully chosen materials. Instead of creating her own plans, she simply went with the 8×20 Leaf House plans which incorporates a modern design and is specifically engineered for cold climates in the north.
