This is The Moving House. It’s a custom converted tiny motorhome using a 2011 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 313. You can actually see how they built most of it right here on their blog.

When you go inside, you’ll notice it has a cozy space that feels a lot more like home when you compare it to most motorhomes. According to This Moving House, they can build a van for you. It takes them about 13 weeks to complete.

This is a “Pendleton Airstream” trailer: a limited edition hybrid creation by Airstream and Pendleton Woolen Mills.

They are only making 100 models, so if you want one you’ll have to snatch it up quickly! Outside, you’ll find a sleek retro aluminium facade complete with an awning and the flexibility to park wherever you want to call home. To convince you further, Airstream will donate $1,000 to the National Park Foundation for each trailer they sell!

When you go inside, you’ll find a fully off-the-grid capable home and the sharp contrast of metal and tan accents, including wooden floors, leather upholstery and wooden cabinets beneath the large sink. In 236 sq. feet, you can sleep six people: two in the bedroom, two in the convertible lounge, and another two in the convertible dining area. You can even add on solar power if you plan on traveling for a long time away from power sources. The kitchen includes a fridge, three-burner cooktop, an oven and a microwave for all your cooking needs. In the bathroom you’ll get a shower, toilet and water heater, as well as a 39-gallon fresh water tank, a grey water tank and a black water tank like a standard R.V. All with a price tag of about $114,600!

Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

This 5th wheel travel trailer tiny home renovation is a guest post by Laura Sauve.

My partner Chad and I sold our 1200 sq. ft. home 5 months ago to embark on new employment and a new way of living via a ‘Tiny Home’ on wheels. We are planning on building a beautiful four-season one after we’ve saved for it, but for now, we live in a 5th wheel in Ontario Canada.

Yep, we are RV’ing this winter and so far so good! Aside from that, we are THRILLED that we sold nearly everything to embark on this amazing adventure. We have felt freedom we haven’t felt in our lives, ever! We live comfortably with our two Dobermans and two cats in our 144 sq. ft., very well appointed and decorated trailer!

Tiny homes can be gorgeous, modern and spacious, I tell everyone that I’ve learned space is actually an illusion and that happiness doesn’t come in the form of ‘things’.

Happy Tiny Homebuilding to everyone, thank you for your helpful website too 🙂

Hi Alex (and Tiny House Talk readers), I know you’re not really about trailers, but I thought you might like to see the “tiny house” I built a couple years ago.

The original framing was rotten, so I took it all the way down to the floorboards and built it up new, into a comfortable little traveling home. I take it on month-long trips, and may soon be moving into it for a longer period when my “big house” is sold. There is quite a community of vintage trailer folks, and next week I’m off to the big Pismo Beach Vintage Trailer Rally, where 300 of us will open up our trailers to visitors and fellow enthusiasts for the weekend.

Tiny motorhomes are appealing because you get better gas mileage and they’re easier to drive around in, park, and clean, right? Especially when comparing to larger motorhomes and travel trailers.

Almost everyone that I talk to that likes the idea of tiny houses loves the idea of really small campers. Unfortunately, most of these are not available in the United States. On the bright side, I think it’s very feasible to convert a minivan into something like this with a little creativity and the right tools. The pop-up feature might be the most expensive part of the project, what do you think?

This one is a Piaggio commercial vehicle converted by JC Leisure. It has a pop-up roof, pull-out bed, and a kitchen unit. There’s even a hidden port-a-potty along with some storage for your traveling needs. The great thing about a vehicle like this is that it can easily be used as a daily driver as well as an adventure traveling machine!
