The tiny cabin that I’m showing you today is a masterpiece to me.

It was originally built in 1912 by Swedish homesteaders using local materials.

Recently the structure has been restored using the same principals.

Local and reclaimed materials were used to rebuild it and the cabin now serves as an inexpensive guest cottage for friends and family of the owner.

Most of the time I like to show you tiny houses on wheels but I also have a passion for other small spaces, like this 252-square-foot tiny victorian cottage built on a foundation by Tiny Texas Houses.

I think a home like this is a great option if you’re interested in living tiny but know that something slightly bigger would work better for you.

Maybe it’s because you want to share the house with somebody, you want to keep some more of your goodies, or you just enjoy a little more spaciousness.

Did you know that Brad Kittel builds his tiny homes of nearly 100% recycled & reclaimed materials that he repurposes, gathers and restores himself? Pretty amazing if you ask me.

I like how the interior is a lot like most little houses on wheels. It’s got the kitchen with an upstairs sleeping loft. Only here you get to enjoy the feeling of more space thanks to a bigger house and the open/vaulted ceilings.

I encourage to tour the rest of this awesome little house below:

I wanted to show you this 165 square foot tiny house on a trailer that was built using slightly modified Tumbleweed Fencl plans. It has that rustic look to it that I personally love and the pictures below speak for themselves.

The interior is beautiful and features high quality home style cabinetry with a spacious kitchen/bathroom for such a tiny home. A design like this is perfect for those of you who prefer that your tiny house feels like a home over the futuristic overly-modern style like this.

I just had to show you this rustic tiny house on wheels because it’s so unique.

Well, it’s not really a house. It’s just a shed on wheels. But here’s a tiny house that has a rustic look to it.

Anyways, this shed has that vintage touch along with the reclaimed/rustic feel.

Built by Bob Bowling Rustics in Whidbey Island, Washington.

It was also featured in The Seattle Times back in 2012.

One of our awesome Tiny House Newsletter readers sent these Tiny Cabin photos to me.

It’s of a tiny house he found in the Catskills in Upstate New York.

The cabin has an upstairs sleeping loft that you can actually stand up in.

And it’s hooked up with a wood stove and propane. It was previously lived in but is now just used for storage.

What happens when a couple sets out to build a teardrop trailer and lets their creativity take over? You get the Love Shack — a king-sized bed disguised as a tiny house on a trailer, built in just 2.5 weeks as a rolling art project.

Built by a couple from British Columbia, the Love Shack started as a joke: “Wouldn’t it be cool if our teardrop looked like a little shack?” Two and a half weeks later, they had a fully insulated, road-ready tiny shelter and hit the road for an open-ended adventure.
