It’s every little girls/boys dream to have a majestic tree fort right in their backyard. For Lynn Knowlton, she made that dream a reality! Lynn, an Interior Designer, lives just outside of Toronto, Canada. She had always wanted a tree fort of her own and decided one day that she was going to make her wish a reality.

Lynn built the most amazing tree house on her property using 100% recycled materials. Even the wood that was used was taken from her friend’s barn that had been knocked down by a tornado. The windows came from various locations like an old church and old houses.

The tree house comes equipped with a gorgeous porch to relax on, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom and even a big red slide! It’s able to accommodate two adults, and get this….YOU can book it for a night or two if you wish! Lynn rents her beautiful fort out to anybody wishing for a tree house adventure! Talk about exciting! Bookings to stay in Lynn’s tree house can be made on her blog or on Trip Advisor.

Güte is a tiny house builder in Maxwell, Ontario, Canada specializing in slightly modernized shepherd huts to meet the needs of today’s tiny house enthusiasts.

And, of course, you don’t have to live tiny full-time to enjoy one. Some people just want some extra space in their backyard.

Others might want to create a tiny guest house they can occasionally rent out or let their friends and family stay in while visiting.

But many of us are looking for full time tiny homes so we can live simply, inexpensively, and deliberately create a more enjoyable way of living. That’s why I love small spaces.

Meet Jenna and Guillaume. They’re a DIY tiny house couple who’ve built a 20′ tiny home on wheels and now they’re getting ready to travel around the United States for one year with their little house in tow!

They started building their home in California but ended up finishing it in Illinois. In the video you’re about to see below- thanks to Deek at Relaxshacks.com– they’re in Philadelphia at a Tumbleweed workshop.

Definitely watch the entire video below- and pay attention too- because you’re going to get to see tons of space saving techniques. Plus some creative (yet simple) use of multi-functional furniture that you may not have ever thought of before.

This Victorian Tiny Texas House cottage is now available as a tiny house vacation rental so I had to tell you about it and show it to you. It’s completely custom designed and built using 100% reclaimed, repurposed and salvaged materials with incredible attention to details throughout.

To me, this isn’t just a tiny home… It’s a work of art by Brad Kittel and his team over at Tiny Texas Houses. When you go inside you’ll find stained glass windows, antique wood floors, and a ladder that leads to a unique loft with a king sized bed. Inside you’ll also find a full service kitchen and bathroom with soaking tub. Outside there’s an enjoyable front porch, patio area, and… a private hot tub. And there’s more, too. Like a gas grill and garden area.

When you walk into this cylindrical micro cabin you can immediately see the ladder to your left which leads you up to the loft.

Beyond that is a daybed with fluffy pillows in front of a beautiful, large round window. Across from that is your table and another window with beautiful views.

These big windows can open up so you can let the outside air in. Outside, nearby, there’s a fire pit you can enjoy. Or you can just relax on your own private deck.

To your right, as you walk in, is the kitchenette area. And the little door nearby leads to the tiny bathroom with a composting toilet and shower. So yes, just about everything you need for comfortable simple living. Do you think you can see yourself living simply in this little cabin on a full time basis? Just curious if you’d like to talk about that in the comments below.
