Airstreams are such beautiful RVs, and it’s always great to see a vintage one given a new life! The original owners did a DIY conversion of this Airstream and have been using it as an Airbnb.

Some of the original elements, like the burnt orange countertops, stove, and kitchen sink are still intact. The original awning is also tucked inside! But there are new faucets where needed, shiny LVP flooring, and other great updates to make it comfortable. What do you think of Airstreams?

This Airbnb host owns a 5-acre working organic farm and was looking for her next step post-hairstyling career. She found this 1974 Airstream that was dump-bound and saw tons of potential (that no one else saw!). As money allowed she was able to hire folks to help her revitalize the Airstream and ultimately turned it into a luxurious Airbnb oasis on her farm.

The trailer sits under a large canopy and has a sitting area, kitchen and bedroom inside. The outdoor covered bathroom area is right next to it, with a beautiful rainfall shower, flush toilet and all the amenities. You can enjoy dinner on the covered deck or nearby patio as well.

The Airstream is so beautiful it’s been featured in multiple publications and online, and when you check out the pictures I’m sure you’ll see why. There’s wood flooring, custom birch cabinetry, brass fixtures, adorable honeycomb tiles, a bathroom, skylight and it even comes with five potted plants. Does it get better?

Today this couple is busy renovating a traditional 500 sq. ft. small home that they recently bought. It’s a very old home (over 100 years old!) so they tore it down and are building again from scratch.

Cool, right? But it gets better because before that they had sold their previous home (and all of their stuff) and they renovated and then lived in this tiny Airstream for 18 months. And that’s what I’m showing you here now.

And if you want you can even rent this exact ‘Eco Airstream’ using Airbnb. It’s in Alameda, California and can accommodate up to two guests. This travel trailer has been completely remodeled with solar power, clay walls, LED lighting, a waterless composting toilet, full kitchen, shower, and more.
