This is the story of Matt and Christa’s and the skoolie that they built for less than $10,000! It’s REALLY REALLY nice too. I think you’ll be impressed.

Skoolies, if you’re curious, are a nickname for school bus conversions. This particular bus was owned by a skating rink before they bought it. And they got it for only $3,000 with only 30,000 miles on it! Not a bad start, right?

In this post, you’ll get to tour a newlyweds’ recently built 160 sq. ft. tiny home on wheels.

The house is 13’5″ high and about 8′ wide so it’s legal to tow on public roads.

There’s also an upstairs loft that adds around 30-40 sq. ft. of livable space to the home.

So in total… It’s really about 200 sq. ft. of living space with a footprint of just 160 sq. ft.
