This is the story of Lindsey’s 80-square-foot rolling tiny home. It’s a 2011 Sprinter Van that she and her dad converted into a stealthy motorhome.

They did it together, while she worked part-time, in just under 6 months using about $8,000 in materials. Take a look and let us know what you think below. This is our exclusive interview with her. You will also find a treasure trove of resources on help with converting your own van at the bottom of this page, after the interview. Enjoy!

This Arya, Phil and Jennifer’s Delica campervan conversion.

The couple bought the Mitsubishi Delica van for $12,000 then spent an additional $7,000 to convert it, which took them about a month and a half to do.

They used to live in a 1978 VW bus that they restored so this was their second go around at a project like this. You can follow Phillip Doyle, Mogwai, and Jen on their Instagram @delicastravels.

This is the story of a family of four (soon to be five) plus their pup who are living in a DIY school bus conversion that they call the Bussalo!

You can follow them on Instagram @theheymoonclub. Here’s what they have to say about living tiny, in a bus, as a family.

When I tell people we are living in a bus I sometimes get the response, “I would go crazy being in a small bus with my kids all day!” So would we! That’s the best part! We designed everything with being outside in mind. Our biggest draw to bus life aside from travel was that our confined living spaces would encourage us to be outside more, enjoying nature. So although I expect to have many great memories in the bus, the real goal is to make a ton of great memories outside of it!
