This is a 409 sq. ft. modern tiny house by Studio NOA.
It was designed and built for a couple with no children who needed a home on a small lot in a neighborhood called Sanno in Tokyo, Japan.

This is a slim treehouse built by a carpenter with a passion for treehouses in Mount Fuji, Japan.
This is an area that’s popular for vacations so rent and housing is normally very expensive here which makes the treehouse even better, right?
Yuichi Takeuchi, the builder, created it for a friend who wanted to have a second home in Fujiyoshida, which is near Mount Fuji.

Check out this 3-story 624 sq. ft. house in Japan. The architects, Takahashi Maki and Associates, call it the “White Hut and Tilia Japanica”. Set in a older residential community this small house sits much higher than it’s neighbors.
The large windows of the home give the owner views of the surrounding area. Heading inside the house you would find on the ground floor the bedroom with space for a small desk. On the second floor you will find the kitchen, dining and living area.
The top level would be my favorite. Along not pictured here that is where you would find a large and luxurious bathroom. Would this type of small house design work for you?

This tiny house on wheels in Japan is designed and built by Tree Heads & Co. to be used as a mobile shop that sells coffee, soft drinks, and snacks.
It’s situated near a bus stop so people getting off can enjoy coffee, drinks, and snacks while enjoying wonderful mountain views.
The shingle siding is made from cypress. And the little cabin on wheels has a living green roof which will soon have flowers. It’s called the Green Roof Tiny Shop.

This 689 sq. ft. apartment redesign is called the Fujigaoka M and was done by Sinato Architects in Tokyo.
They created an L shaped wall to separate space for two bedrooms inside. This wall has built in shelves, storage, and a seating area.
According to Dezeen, the apartment is lived in by a married couple who also wanted to have a guest bedroom.

Right now I want to show you this incredible and lightweight Taku-Tanku tiny house on wheels created by Stereotank and Takahiro Fukuda that you can tow with a bicycle, on foot, or even with a boat.
It’s great because it’s designed to be made from two 670 gallon water tanks which of course can be recycled. And, it’s really easy to assemble, too. The tanks are connected by a rectangle of wood.
How about that? A micro home that you don’t have to spend 1-2 years building… And you can tow it with a bicycle if you wanted to!
