Armando and Mel from Westfalia Digital Nomads have been living in a VW camper van, full-time, for over 6 years now.

To fund their travels, they work online as digital nomads doing freelance writing and videography.

They chose to live in a van because it was the perfect way to combine work, travel, and home.

The most amazing part is that they built it while they were moving around usually on public land!

This story is brought to you thanks to Dylan Magaster. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thanks!

Kathleen and Greg from Tiny House, Tiny Footprint downsized their lives from a downtown apartment in Denver, Colorado to a 140 square foot camper trailer two years ago. For the first year of their tiny house experiment, their tiny trailer was parked in a friend’s backyard until they bought a piece of land where they could park the trailer and grow their own food.

The couple’s inspiration to adopt a minimalist lifestyle and move into a small space was multifaceted: they wanted to have a smaller environmental footprint, spend less money, have more time for outdoor adventures, and be location independent. Check out the latest video by Exploring Alternatives to see a full tour of the trailer.

This is one family’s 200 sq. ft. travel trailer tiny house conversion story.

We’re James + Sarah, two passion-seeking nomads who are genuinely inspired by the world around us. We’re living full-time in a 2005 Jayco Jayflight with our baby daughter, Stella and dog, Lavender.

Our beloved self-made home named NOLA,  whom we renovated out of a FEMA trailer, was originally purposed for citizens of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. She found her way to us and we spent the summer of 2015 completely renovating her interior.
