According to USA Today, “the 33-year-old journalist decided he had had enough of the city life and wanted a unique, personalized and portable getaway.”
So he decided on the ESCAPE Vista by ESCAPE Homes and was able to arrange to keep it on a friend’s farm in Marlboro, New York. Now you can even book the house on Airbnb!

The home itself is a shipping container renovation with a huge and lovely front porch. Although it’s not built for full-time living, you’ll find a bathroom with shower and flush toilet, a queen sized bed and television and a mini kitchenette to make coffee and store cool drinks. You can’t miss the giant wall art, which is of Eric Clapton.

The adorable tiny build has a couch that rolls out into our downstairs bed (perfect!), a well-stocked kitchen, and a comfortable bathroom. The best part, I think, has to be the pond-front view!
