This is the story of a family who enjoyed simple living in their tiny home but has said goodbye to the lifestyle because, well, they’ve simply outgrown it.

They originally built their tiny home for less than $15,000 and you can see how it was done at the bottom of this page.

This is Tave’s tiny home on wheels that she built for less than $20k. It was actually nominated for the 2016 Tiny House of the Year and is one great little home. Tave made this place her own in the 9 months she spent building it, adding a crafting/sewing station as well as a home office.

I am a 38-year-old woman from Maine. My tiny house took 9 months and just under $20k to build.

This is a High Schooler’s Tiny House Shell for Sale in Winter Springs, FL. (SOLD)

Jacob built the amazing house for his senior project in high school, with hopes of taking it with him to college. Unfortunately, he can’t bring it along and would like to recoup some of the money he put into his home. It comes with boxed wood flooring, a detached porch and even some fun gingerbread Christmas decor.

This is a beautiful — and fun! — unfinished Tiny Arch House that’s for sale.

It’s been an ongoing project for this family, and they are now selling it in order to pay some debts. It has a beautiful shingled exterior and an unfinished inside that includes two lofts, and could include a bedroom. Plus, you can read about the entire construction process on the family’s blog here.

This is Ralph’s Under-$20K Small Home he built back in 2007.

Ralph doesn’t live here anymore, but worked hard to create this wonderful, inexpensive house. In the end, it came in at 960 sq. ft. — definitely more “small” than tiny — and is a great inspiration to us all.

See how this married couple, Peter and Shannon, built their own tiny house for less than $20,000 and how they are living simply in it.

This is one of the most amazing tiny homes I’ve ever seen. I think you’ll be really impressed once you see what it’s like inside.

Inside this little cottage on wheels, you’ll find everything you want from home… A 28″ flat screen TV, washer/dryer, kitchen with large sink, staircase to the loft, and lots of windows and natural light throughout. All for under $20k.

Great work Peter, Shannon, Peter’s Dad, (and their friends, family, and building team). This is yet another amazing example of what you can do with your own custom tiny house project with enough dedication and good old fashion hard work.
