Right now I’m introducing you to Eddie and Lacey who are a couple living tiny in an Austin, Texas RV Park.
Back in 2010, they attended a Tumbleweed tiny house workshop. Later on, they bought their Tumbleweed trailer, the DVD, and the Cypress tiny house plans.
Now, a few years later, they’re almost done with their DIY Tumbleweed Cypress 18 Tiny House on Wheels. And they’re already living tiny while getting some finishing touches done on their tiny home.

This 186 sq. ft. modern South African tiny house also has a 96 sq. ft. deck.
The unique part about it is that it’s not designed on wheels therefore it can have a much taller design which gives you the ability to stand up in your sleeping loft. You’ll notice that as soon as you take a look at it.
When you walk inside you can see how tiny yet spacious it is thanks to the high ceilings. Wouldn’t it be great to see more tiny house designs like this? What would you change about this design to make it better for you? Let us know in the comments. Thank you!

Question: Should I be considering RVIA certified tiny houses?
Answer: Although you can always build a tiny house on wheels without an RVIA certification right now I’m showing you why you should seriously consider saying ‘yes’ to RVIA certified tiny houses.
If you ever want to be able to park and live in your tiny home in an RV park in the future you’ll want to have this certification to make sure you have as many options as possible when it comes to living in your tiny home. Some RV parks and campgrounds will NOT allow your tiny house on wheels on their property if it is not RVIA certified while others will.

When Lee Wachtstetter’s husband of 50 years passed away in 1997 one of his last words to her were, “don’t stop cruising.” So she sold her 5 bedroom house in Florida and started living on a Holland America Line cruise ship. When they discontinued the program at Holland she moved aboard Crystal Serenity which is a 1070 passenger ship. And for the last seven years she’s been living in it. Did I mention that she’s 86 years old?
Lee has been on more than 200 cruises and more than 15 trips around the world while visiting more than 100 countries. She normally stays aboard the ship and enjoys all of the facilities inside. And she visits her family when the ship docks in Miami, Florida. You might be wondering, what does it cost to live aboard a luxury cruise ship? Wachtstetter is said to be paying about $164,000 per year to live on the Serenity ship which includes her housing, meals, entertainment, movies, events, parties, dancing, and everything else the cruise has to offer. That’s more than $400 per day for housing! That’s insane. But she’s able to do it and she’s loving it.
I’m always thinking and talking about all the different ways there are to go tiny but I’ve never thought about anyone actually living aboard a cruise ship! Her living space is tiny but she has an enormous ship with food and amenities. Personally I couldn’t handle living on a giant, noisy and crowded cruise ship. But it’s not about me, it’s about her. And she says, “here I am today living a stress-free, fairy-tale life.” So now I ask you, “what does a stress-free, fairy-tale life look like to YOU?” Just curious, let me know in the comments down below and I’ll share my thoughts too. 🙂

This 186 sq. ft. tiny house on wheels is called Thousand Crow. It was built for a 50-year-old woman in Vancouver who wanted to own her own tiny home. Since Vancouver is known as the 2nd most unaffordable place to own a home in the world, according to CBC, Isabella Mori decided to go tiny so she can actually own her own home without going broke or struggle to pay for a house.
She found a builder named John from a company called Camera Buildings and after spending $39,000 she now owns her very own tiny house on wheels. She didn’t have to build it herself and she’s living in it legally at an RV park. The queen bed rolls out from underneath the ground so there’s no upstairs sleeping loft either. And there’s lots of built-in storage throughout this tiny house including built-in floor storage. What do you think, could this be the perfect tiny house design??

This prefab modern house called the M2. It has two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms within 1240 sq. ft. of interior space that’s inside so it’s definitely not tiny and- to me- not even small.
But I still think it’s worth looking at and I think you might enjoy it too. And since it’s prefab you might be able to order just one wing which would be somewhere around 500 sq. ft. Later, if you needed or wanted to, you can add on. You can see what I mean in the video below where you can see it being set up. The living and dining areas are on one side and the bedrooms are on the other. The enclosed glass bridge connects them together. It’s an interesting layout isn’t it? How would you change this to make it maybe smaller and most importantly better for your own needs?

Right now I’m showing you an off grid bus motorhome that was rebuilt from scratch which took about 9 months to do according to this article. It was built for people who crave adventure. Whether you crave the thrill of extreme sports, capturing the perfect photograph, hiking to a summit at sunrise, or even playing tourist for a day, the La Chanchita bus will not only get you there, but serve as your personal “hotel on wheels”.
Imagine traveling in a lovingly restored 1966 Mercedes-Benz bus. Before its transformation, La Chanchita was a city bus in Buenos Aires in the 1960s. Manu Fombeurre, the brainchild behind La Chanchita, dreamt of “being able to take the world on the discovery of the continent”.
La Chanchita now serves as a home away from home with amenities that include sleeping for up to five, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower and toilet, water, electricity, and a cozy wood burning stove.
Your adventure begins in San Carlos de Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina with complimentary airport or bus station pick up. With La Chanchita, you’ll be able to access those out of the way spots in comfort.
This is not your typical vacation – expect a life changing journey with La Chanchita!
