This is one woman’s amazing DIY tree house in Miami where she raised her three children.
Outside, you’ll notice a huge tree with a cozy home tucked inside its strong branches. The farm on which this house is located has many other small huts and structures, so you get a different look depending on what you focus on.
When you go inside, you’ll find her open-air bedroom. She has a queen bed up against one wall with a railing for safety. The wide roof overhang keeps her dry and she wakes up to the gentle breeze from outside. The main living space has the same open-air feel with similar wide roof overhangs. When you go inside, you’ll find a desk, couch, and a full kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator and a three-burner stove and oven.

This is a yurt tree cabin with a wrap-around deck that’s suspended in the trees at Cypress Valley Canopy Tours. Outside, you’ll notice a tan-colored canvas yurt with a windowed wooden door. The wrap-around deck includes chairs for sitting, relaxing, and taking in the views.
When you go inside, you’ll find hardwood floors, a full sized bed, wicker chairs, an end table, a wardrobe, and a tree trunk that grows through the center of the yurt! Worried about the bathroom and kitchen? You’ll find it if you go through a breezeway and into another building that houses a waterfall, full bathroom, and your kitchen.

This is Lily’s 150 sq. ft. tiny house on wheels in New Zealand.
From the outside, you’ll notice it’s a gable-roofed home on wheels with dark clapboards, a beautiful metal roof and stained-glass front door.
When you go inside, you’ll find a book lover’s dream, with an entire wall of built-in shelves overflowing with books and another bookcase near the couch with even more books.

This is a 75 square feet tiny cube house built within an office space!
From the outside, you can’t even tell it’s a home. So from a client’s perspective, it can very well be storage space or even just a private office, right?
When you go inside, you’ll find a bed, closet space, shelving, and a kitchenette. You’ll also find a secret bathroom with a toilet and sink and an outdoor garden/patio area hidden behind sliding walls.

If you’ve ever been interested in reducing the amount of waste you create, there’s a lot to learn from this woman’s zero-waste lifestyle thanks to Exploring Alternatives.
Mailyne is a single mom who’s passionate about reducing, refusing, reusing, recycling and rotting. She has all of the garbage she has created in the past year in one small glass jar, and she said most of it is stickers from fresh produce!
Mailyne uses glass containers and brings them to the store to buy her groceries. In addition, she makes her own toothpaste, potato chips and mouthwash. This is the Lovestruck tiny housetruck that you can rent in Scotland if you’re interested in a house truck vacation.
From the outside, it looks like a vintage box truck with a glorious deep burgundy color that gives it character and charm.
Step through the lovely burgundy back door, and you’ll find a built-in bed on one end with privacy curtains, a couch that turns into another bed for two, and a tiny wood burning stove to keep warm. There’s also a lovely dinette and beautiful gingham curtains hung on curtain rods crafted from branches.

This is a family of 5 living tiny in a 1 bedroom apartment.
They moved out of their two-bedroom condo in the suburbs into this 600 square foot, 1 bedroom apartment because it’s closer to work and closer to their son’s autism treatments.
Now, dad can bike to and from work and mom can take her son to his treatments without the added stress of long commutes.
When you go inside their apartment, you’ll find a kitchen, bathroom, a studio-style living area for mom and dad, and a bedroom with bunk beds for the kids.

This couple decided to turn their current minivan into a DIY micro motorhome and they nicknamed it Red Delicious.
On the outside, it looks like a standard burgundy van, but when you take a look inside, you’ll find it’s much more than just a minivan.
Inside, the back seats have been removed to make way for a bed-for-two, and a simple milk crate storage system in the back of the van. Need an awning? They created one from a tarp and poles. A table, set of chairs, and gas burners tuck into the van during transport and can be pulled out for sitting and eating when they get to a campsite. They even have blinds to cover the windows for privacy and blocking out light.
