Brattleboro Tiny House Fest grows into big ideas
Brattleboro, Vermont — Tiny House Fest Vermont (THFV) began with 5,000 attendees in 2016. As the festival grows, so does its engagement with not-so-tiny ideas. On Saturday, June 23, in downtown Brattleboro, up to 30 houses will be on view, and over 35 presenters will celebrate design while asking how the tiny house movement can change communities for the better.

When I tell people we are living in a bus I sometimes get the response, “I would go crazy being in a small bus with my kids all day!” So would we! That’s the best part! We designed everything with being outside in mind. Our biggest draw to bus life aside from travel was that our confined living spaces would encourage us to be outside more, enjoying nature. So although I expect to have many great memories in the bus, the real goal is to make a ton of great memories outside of it!

It was originally built by Timbercraft Tiny Homes in 2017, and is named Tiny Retreat, according to the listing.
The tiny home can be kept on its current lot which is a $575 monthly fee lot lease that includes water, garbage, and use the community amenities. The tiny home is priced at $89,000.
