This is a tiny fisherman cottage in Hvide Sande which is a little town on the west coast of Jutland, Denmark. It’s the country’s fifth largest fishing port, according to Small House Bliss.

The neighborhood seems to be filled with other structures like this. Most of them are just small warehouses that are used to store fishing gear but many of them are not even being used anymore, so some people have decided to turn them into modern tiny homes inspired by the classic old fishing sheds.2 Pretty interesting, right?

These are two tiny houses on wheels joined together to make one (larger) tiny house! Well, technically, they’re semi-permanently attached. The design allows for detachment, but it looks permanent, doesn’t it?

This is pretty cool because I’ve never really seen it done before, although I would probably prefer to keep the units separate but adjoined by a deck instead, kind of like this one (also built by Molecule Tiny Homes). How about you? What do you think of this design idea?

This is an affordable tiny house with a main floor bedroom called the Dragonfly tiny house. It’s a 34.5-foot tiny home built on a trailer by Core Housing Solutions (UPDATE: This company has gone out of business). It’s built with structurally insulated panels which give you great insulation, a strong build, and lighter overall weight.

This tiny house is designed to be as maintenance-free as possible. So the exterior doesn’t need to be constantly maintained, recaulked, or even repainted because it’s a chemically bonded steel skin with a powder-coated finish so you’re good to go! If you want low-cost and low-maintenance, this seems like the way to go. Another really cool feature about this unit is that the house itself is designed to be removable from the trailer just in case your local laws require your tiny house to be on a more permanent foundation.

This is a new Boho XL Tiny House Floor Plan from ESCAPE with a private bedroom on the main floor, or you could choose to go with the other option which is more of an open-concept design. Kind of like a studio.

It’s pretty cool because they’re constantly coming up with new customizations and add-ons for their customers. So which do you like better, the open-concept or the private bedroom? I think I would prefer the open-concept myself. 🙂
