We have some great news about a new tiny house community set to open this fall on the Coosa River. The Seven Lilly Luxury Lots Minimal Lifestyle Living will welcome both tiny homes and RVs in a beautiful natural setting for a very affordable price.
The annual lot leases will start at $200 monthly (water included), and there will be 50amp power at each site (each lot responsible to activate power with Power Company).
Power and water should be in by November 2020, but you may want to call Shana at 256-493-2376 to discuss securing a spot. It looks like it’ll be a great community (but make sure to never send money unless it’s all checked out!).

I don’t think I’ve seen a Baluchon build that I haven’t liked, and Anne-Claire’s Green Titmouse THOW is no exception. The client wanted a green roof to blend in with the woodland surroundings where her home is now situated. It even has a built-in window box to add a little green right outside her window.
It features a standard tiny house layout, with the living room in the front, bathroom/kitchen in the back, and a loft bedroom. The Baluchon builders included an adorable cat door in the living room for Anne-Claire’s cat, Milka. The home is heated by a Cubic Mini Wood Burning Stove they imported from Canada.
Enjoy the photo tour below!

After loosing her home to the bush fires in Australia, this woman opted to go tiny and asked Rolling Homes to build it for her!
Because she has an elderly dog, she chose to keep her bed on the first floor, and put her living area above the bedroom. This created a lovely three-tiered home interior since the staircase to the living room turns and takes you to the higher “lounge loft” that can double as a guest room or storage area.
She also has a full kitchen and bathroom, with some amazing green dot tiles in the shower! This model starts at $89,000 AUD (~$64,000).

This is the story of a solo female living and traveling with a teardrop trailer for around a decade now! It all started in 2007, when she decided to hop on a Harley Davidson motorcycle with her teardrop camper (named tick tack) in tow. With the motor cycle, she would get around 30 miles per gallon (while towing the teardrop).
Today she’s towing it with something a bit more practical, and very likely just as economic on fuel. It’s a Volkswagen Beetle with a TDI diesel engine. That’s right, it’s a diesel Beetle! These are known to get somewhere around 50 miles per gallon, although I’m sure a teardrop camper reduces that to a significant degree, but I’m sure she isn’t complaining about it. Anyhow, hear all about it, and learn more about Jaclyn’s incredible lifestyle below! And tell me, would you ever consider doing something outlandishly awesome like this?
