Gah! I detest shingle siding on a house. Yeah, my problem I know. but I think it is totally aesthetically unpleasing.
As for outside dunnies (toilets) and showers… total no go. I mean really? You’d want to sit doing your business in pouring rain?
I think this is a cute little place and off grid it’s exactly what you’d expect ?
Cute little place for a guest cottage, but I wouldn’t expect my guests to have to trot outside on a cold night when they have to use the bathroom.
Don’t they have snow in the North? 🙂
Cute I guess, but for me it would not work at all, and yes there is snow in the north but you could wait until spring to use the bathroom.
