Travis works as a Comic Book Ambassador, traveling the country talking about comics and sharing awesome YouTube videos about what’s new in the comic world. And amazingly, he paid for his shuttle bus conversion by selling his own comic collection. Pretty neat!

York Beach is an awesome New England vacation spot and this little pine cabin is just a short walk or bike ride from local beaches. But you also get the lovely feel of being in a wooded area, since the cabin sits on the edge of a forest. Best of both worlds!

The Vista Boho is ESCAPE’s answer to a question a lot of first-time buyers ask: how small can you go before a tiny house stops working as a home? This one puts a built-in queen bed on the ground floor at one end, wrapped in windows on three sides, which is the detail that makes the whole layout click. No ladder, no loft, no crawling into bed — and the wrap-around glass turns what could feel like a closet into the nicest corner of the house.
The rest is efficient rather than cramped. A fold-flat couch and double flip-tables let the middle of the home switch between lounging, dining, and working. The kitchenette runs an induction cooktop, mini fridge/freezer, and a deep sink with butcher block, and there’s a full-size closet with mirror plus a drawer stack for storage. The bathroom holds a one-piece shower stall and a flush toilet, and a high-efficiency mini-split heat pump handles the climate.

Everything about this little cottage in the New Hampshire woods calls out, “cute!” From the tiny covered front porch to the perfect landscaping to the white rocking chairs — it’s a quaint getaway that’s perfect for a couple’s retreat or even a solo trip.

Melanie is a National Spokesperson for the Tiny House Alliance USA, and the author of “Trailblazing Tiny: A Guide to Breaking Free.” She and her husband live — legally — in a tiny house on wheels that sits on an acre homestead.
They built their 144 sq. ft. tiny house in just seven days with the help of three other people at an Incredible Tiny House workshop back in 2018. Now they are enjoying a peaceful life outside the rat race — raising chickens, growing veggies, and spending less than $300/month on a land mortgage and utilities! Olly and Harriet are a lovely German couple who had always loved traveling during their vacations from work and wanted to use their retirement to keep seeing the world. So they purchased an amazing Mitsubishi Fuso and had it converted into an overlander dream house on wheels!
The professionals who outfitted the interior did an incredible job. They have everything you could want, including a spacious bathroom area with both a window and fan for ventilation. There’s also a fixed bed, convertible dinette, 3-burner cooktop, and hanging clothing storage. Enjoy the tour!

Meet Betty, Jens, Coco (their dog), and their beautiful police-vehicle-turned-tiny-home! Betty & Jens have been using their VW T4 conversion as a vacation home on wheels for the past three years. Because this is a smaller van, it’s so impressive how functional they were able to make it!

Linda and Bill got to the point where their children and even their grandkids were growing up and had busy lives of their own, so they wanted to get out and explore the world at last! They liquidated their assets and converted the van, which includes a convertible bed, bathroom with a shower and toilet, and two swivel seats.
On their first adventure, they went all around Central America and were just about to come home via Costa Rica when their van was mistakenly taken by the government there due to “incomplete papers.” It took a year and a half due to the 2020 restrictions, but they eventually got the van back and had it shipped to Florida. They’re happy to be on the road again, exploring the country!
