Walker and Heather’s 8×24-foot tiny house on wheels in Portland, Oregon is one of the most unique builds we have featured — a naturally-built home with a curved living roof, biophilic design elements, recycled materials, honeycomb loft storage, and a hand-crafted interior that manages to feel modern, whimsical, and zen all at once. It was designed by the couple and built with the help of Ben Garratt of Tiny Healthy Homes in Vancouver.

This is the Wing Suite Tiny House: an unfolding tiny house design that’s not so tiny after it’s set up on-site. Or as they say it at Wing Suite, a not too tiny house.
It’s not the first time we have seen an unfolding tiny house, but it’s always great to see a new one, with a different design, and with whatever improvements and new ideas applied to it. This is a modern prefab cabin on wheels that’s listed for sale over at the Tiny House Marketplace by Justin S. out of Arroyo Grande, California. It is built by a company called Efficient Building Systems LLC.
It’s an incredible looking tiny house but it comes with a hefty price tag: $175,000. It was just built in 2019 and features dual sinks in the bathroom, a luxurious interior and exterior, it’s 12-ft. wide by 32-ft. long, and would be easy to be approved as an Accessory Dwelling Unit or Junior Accessory Dwelling Unit (some properties are allowed to have more than one ADU). This is the story and tour of a reader’s 220-sq.-ft. tiny apartment in Los Angeles.
