    Who wouldn’t love owning and living in this place; it looks like a surf- side palace. But the price! … oy Vey!

    When I win the lottery, I want one. Oh, wait. I don’t play the lottery. Oh, well, then I’ll just have to enjoy the pictures.

    I Love this housing solution, they are all nice, because they stimulate the creative talent that is hidden in every person. Trying to live outside the conventional schemes, the inevitable result is an explosion of creativity, and what is Creative is always Positive

    Ok…that barrel and wooden tub in the bathroom are must haves. The whole place is unique and absolutely beautiful, and I am sure it’s worth every penny they are asking. Thanks, Alex, for letting me see this delightful and lovely home even if it is not on my financial level. It’s fun to see how the other half live.

    @JJ Noir

    Methinks that Richard Vail has a solid bank of arrogance. Mebbe he just wants the good old days of having unpaid slaves. Well, given his comment anyways.

    Hobbit houseboat? I guess it’s a regular houseboat that self identifies as a hobbit. Why not…it is the left coast after all

      Yeah, but it ain’t in New Zealand, and we claim all rights to hobbits etc., due to producing the amazing movies about them. But, we’ll also give JRR Tolkein a little credit too eh! After all, he did do a little thing like write the stories in the first place.

      And, BTW, hobbits would never, ever live in a houseboat. Theys scared of water didn’t ya know???

    Besides the gorgeous fit and finish of this place, I really like its nook-and-cranny feel. Like there’s something new to discover in each part of the house.

    Without getting too political….a wage being pay received for work, $0 is not a wage, minimum or otherwise.
