Jim got in touch with us to show us his Tumbleweed Cypress shell that he built back in 2014 on a 20′ Tumbleweed Titan trailer. He did an awesome job with such attention to detail, and now he is ready for it to go to someone who can finish off the inside.

While he did sneak a shower stall into the build before closing off the walls, the rest of the interior is unfinished (no plumbing or electrical). The Cypress is Tumbleweed’s most popular model, and for a good reason. It’s the “classic” tiny house with a kitchen/bathroom under the loft bedroom and the living space in the front near the itty-bitty porch. It’s almost like a piece of tiny house history! Jim’s selling the shell for $20K.

This is The Sabine, a Tumbleweed Cypress Model at Austin’s Original Tiny Home Hotel in Texas.

If you’re looking to vacation small, but don’t just want a room, this place is adorable. It even has a downstairs bedroom which I would love in my own tiny house someday. Minus an oven, the kitchen has all you need to enjoy a self-catered holiday (or you could experience the Austin food scene!). Take a look!

Book your stay here and get contact information for Tumbleweed below!

Right now I’m introducing you to Eddie and Lacey who are a couple living tiny in an Austin, Texas RV Park.

Back in 2010, they attended a Tumbleweed tiny house workshop. Later on, they bought their Tumbleweed trailer, the DVD, and the Cypress tiny house plans.

Now, a few years later, they’re almost done with their DIY Tumbleweed Cypress 18 Tiny House on Wheels. And they’re already living tiny while getting some finishing touches done on their tiny home.
