This is an Indiegogo Campaign for the Grengine: An Evolution in Portable Power.
The Grengine is an eco-friendly generator that’s completely silent, emission-free and ultra-lightweight so it would work well for off-grid tiny homes and van-dwelling:
THE WORLD’S ONLY power system featuring interchangeable super batteries. Each battery pack has 1200 Watt hours to keep you going, and going…and going. Charge it from your wall, your car, or from the sun and then take it where you need it. Camping? Construction? Home backup? The GRENGINE™ has you covered.
Like the idea? Consider backing this invention (Only 2 days left!)

A group of local teens in Seattle are developing an eco-village called The Impossible City to benefit the local homeless people in the area.
They’ve even put together an Indiegogo fundraising campaign that has so far raised a total of $27,744 as I write this.
With the campaign scheduled to close on April 26, 2015, they’re just a few thousand dollars short of their goal to raise $32,205. And it looks like they’re going to make it!
This project is backed by Sawhorse Revolution which is a non-profit carpentry program for high school students in Seattle. So far they’ve designed a green house, micro home, solar hubs, communal kitchens, composting outhouses, and more for the village (all of which you can see sketches of below). Please enjoy and re-share below. Thank you.

Elaine over at Tiny House Community has done a great job of organizing the 2013 Tiny House Fair at Yestermorrow Design Build School in Vermont.
She just announced scholarships for the fair that she needs help funding. I’ll just let her do the talking. But I can assure you that the money she raises here will be put to good use this summer.
Scholarships for the Tiny House Fair at Yestermorrow
Before I hand it over to Elaine I want you to know that contributing to the scholarship is completely optional. Please only do so if you really want to. If not no worries! Feel free to check out our other tiny home photo/video posts in the Tiny Houses category instead.
How to Get a Scholarship
Elaine’s going to explain that in a moment below, but basically you submit an essay.

The biggest…littlest…um, the latest news in Tiny: La Petite Maison. I’m sure you’ve heard of it; it isn’t all that new, but this 12 year old girl has been taking the tinyverse by storm.
She has been featured in a guest post on the Tumbleweed Tiny House blog. She appeared on Andrew Odom’s r(E)vo Convo Podcast.
She and her Mom even got a chance to visit the Tiny r(e)volution while it was still in Georgia. She also recently visited the Tiny House Showcase, Boneyard Studios, in Washington DC.
There is almost nothing that Sicily Kolbeck hasn’t done and she isn’t even thirteen. As far as anyone knows, Sicily is the youngest tiny house builder on record.
I really wish I had her level of confidence when I was her age.

Please read below, because Sicily is doing so much more!
