This is a modern shipping container house in Venice, CA. It consists of three 20 foot containers designed to offer functional indoor and outdoor living space.
Each container serves a purpose; the lime green container is the home office, the middle cream white container is the kitchen, and the chili red container is the bedroom and bathroom. Pretty cool, right? And there is even a secluded outdoor bath tub in between the cream white and chili red container!
This home has luxurious amenities throughout including skylights, custom cabinetry and even a steam room! For laundry there is a hidden washer and dryer plus exterior closet that you can see in the video below.

What once was a one-car garage, converted and expanded, is now this 750 sq. ft. cabin cottage.
In the photos below you can see how the owner added an addition to the garage on the hillside. Inside the cottage a stairway was built to connect the spaces together.
The downstairs is the old converted garage, which is where the living area, kitchen and half-bathroom are located.
Up the stairs to the newer addition of the cottage is a bedroom and full bathroom. The bedroom has a beautiful little outdoor patio to enjoy the view.

Here’s a pretty cool (and possibly available) tiny studio in West Hollywood, CA. A great Craigslist find.
It has a nice private entrance and the studio has a luxurious bathroom, sleeping area, dining area and plenty of windows.
No kitchen but you are walkable distance to just about any where you need to go.
