The Nook tiny house plans are from Humble Homes.
It’s their smallest tiny house design available so far.
Tiny House Plans Just 10’x6.5′ Footprint
That’s TINY! Fortunately the sleeping loft is just a little bit bigger.
If you include both the loft area and the first floor there’s a total of just 119 square feet.
What Does This Mean?

Is it just me, or aren’t there a lot of tiny house people out there who are artistic?
Whether you write, paint, draft, sculpt, or dance..
I’m coming to terms with the fact that: artists need their space.
Yet artists usually LOVE tiny houses. So that begs the question..
How Do Artists and Tiny Homes Come Together?
If artists need their space for drafts, art, rough drafts, research, then how the heck would one live in a tiny home and continue creating?
So I asked our Facebook Fans and here’s what they said…

Guest Post by Dawn Langton: On the Teardrop Camper Trail
When I was kid, my mother aspired to a singlewide. She grew up in our house, a rambling Dutch Colonial on Long Island. My friends loved its weird nooks and crannies and creepy cellar. My mom hated that it always needed work and took forever to clean.
So in the New York suburbs of the 1960s, when most adults thought bigger was better, she longed for a simple trailer in the woods. Later, she discovered tiny log cabins, and lobbied my father endlessly to make the move. She finally got her wish, in a way, when they retired to what she called her “treehouse,” a small, rustic duplex on stilts on the Gulf Coast of Florida.

The BrightBunk tiny house design is something I created mostly for fun and practice, but it could potentially be modified to fit your needs. It’s great if you wanted a cabin for the grandkids, something to take to a campground, to park in the backyard or housing for retreats and workshops.
Tiny House Design with Bunk Beds!
It’s a basic design that can be built on a foundation or on a dual axle utility trailer. You can even use it on campuses for dorms or to temporarily house workers on job sites.

Front Gate and Porch
I included a porch and gate in the design so you get the front porch feel, but it’s completely optional. Another better way to do it is to make it a flip down porch as one of you pointed out last week.

Last week I showed you the McG tiny house plans.
Today I’m showing you yet another option from Humble Homes.
This one is for those of you who like the idea of a sleeping loft with a ladder.
The BRV2 Tiny House
I like the BRV2 because it makes great use of space and separates living and sleeping.
I also really like the french doors near the kitchen and living area. Did I mention this tiny house design has 10 windows?

We’ve travelled 2500 miles in our Tiny House in the last six months, staying put anywhere from 1 day to 3 months. It’s been a great adventure, and we’re getting ready to head north again as the weather changes. It’s hard to think that we’ve got to learn how to pack up for travel again, and slog slowly along the highway. Good thing gas prices are lower than they were last winter…

Why We Put Our Tiny House For Sale
I will continue to live in tiny spaces for the rest of my life. For now, the time has come for our oversea move.
We have not decided where we will go YET, but we have nailed it down to one continent. 🙂
